“You can choose whatever material you want to fight each other,” the matriarch declared, her voice echoing through the arena like a spell cast over the room. She stood with her arms outstretched, as if offering them a divine gift—freedom to choose their own destruction. Without hesitation, Dorian moved. His eyes locked onto a long, curved blade resting among the scattered weapons on the ground—a katana. He stepped forward, the steel whispering as he lifted it into his hands. The weight was perfect. Balanced. Silent. Deadly.

Two blades in a sheath. John even got goosebumps, and his hands reached for the blades themselves. His blades! Flawless, perfectly balanced, made of a special alloy, the secret of which only the Coven knew. Jon took out each of the blades and ran his hand over them lovingly, as if they were the most precious thing in his life. The blades were somewhat reminiscent of a Japanese sword - a katana, but slightly different from it. There was a glint of light and the soft sound of a blade leaving its scabbard as the woman took out a simple yet beautifully handcrafted dagger. It was well made, it being from one of the best blacksmiths in the land of huskarian.

I begged with my tears already falling in fear. “I can't do that… You are more obedient that way,” he chuckled. He walked towards a wall and took one of the swords hanging there. He pulled the blade out of the scabbard and walked closer to me. “Do you like the sword?” he smirked pointing the tip if the blade my way, “This one was a present from Mr. Tsuchida. This katana is extremely sharp, I've never used it before, I think I will test it out on you…”

And Morgana was once again thankful to have her mates by her side, she couldn't imagine what the Alpha was going through right now. Takaokami held out both hands, and she watched in silence as an object began to appear, gasping softly as it slowly solidified. In her mate's hands were two blood-red katana, the blades looked lethal to touch and the Ito wraps(material around the handles) were made with a shimmery black leather that looked suspiciously like dragon scales. The saya (Sheath) that held the double katana rippled with white pearl-like designs, and as she peered closer Morgana realized those designs were actually her mate's scales embedded in the saya itself.

Then they realized that she had drawn her sword. The Blade of Bellatrix was as black as the night with dotted whites on it. It consisted of the stars in the constellation of Orion with the star of Bellatrix seemed to be the brightest this time. It has a one-sided sharp edge which made it look like a katana. Chloe began to move into action once again. She cut through the neck of the saber only to find it hard as steel. She quickly twisted her sword so the steeled neck hit the side of the blade. The impact, however, was enough to throw her back.

The court moved quickly, clearing space in the center of the chamber. The duel circle formed beneath the towering pillars of bone and stone. Adrian stepped into the open space. Across from him, Kharvek unsheathed a massive curved blade. “Try not to die too quickly,” the demon mocked. Adrian said nothing. The duel began. Kharvek attacked first. The demon moved with surprising speed for his size, his blade crashing down with enough force to crack the stone floor. Adrian twisted aside. Steel shrieked against steel as he raised his sword to deflect the next strike.

Seraphina barely had time to react before the clash began. Steel met steel with a violent clang. Sparks flew like stars, illuminating the night in flashes of white-hot brilliance. Seraphina moved fluidly, blocking a strike aimed at her head and spinning into a counterattack that sent her opponent sprawling across the cold stone. Kai was a storm beside her. His movements were precise, brutal, and devastatingly fast. Every swing of his blade was calculated, efficient, lethal. But even as he cut through the enemy, his eyes never left Seraphina, ensuring she remained unharmed.
