It was the most beautiful watch I’d ever laid my eyes on. “Frankie ..” I breathed. He grinned, taking it out of the box. “It’s a Rolex Submariner .. white gold. But it’s vintage and the um .. place I got it basically put two watches together.. to make this one.” He said. The striking blue watch face contrasted with the white gold in a way that made it so gorgeous it almost hurt to look at it. I immediately started crying again .. and held out my arm for Frankie to put it on. Then I hugged him tightly.
