Unperfect Marriage

Unperfect Marriage

Darla said after she was sure that she only needed to explain the important things. "Noah?" Harvey furrowed his brows in disbelief. "Oh, you don't seem to know that we are neighbors." Since Harvey and Angel divorced, he chose to live in an apartment. And as far as Harvey knows, the occupants on the left and right are still empty because Harvey's apartment is a new building. "Are you the new resident of 307? Or 309?" Ask Harvey to be sure. Harvey was number 308, so this girl had only two possibilities. This time it was Darla who took turns frowning. What are they really talking about right now? Could they be talking about two different things?

The missing mafia princess

The missing mafia princess

I stood up from my seat and walked out of the conference room that we were in then walked to the elevators and pushed the button. I stood in front of the elevators and waited for one of the doors to open. The right side opened and I walked in then pushed the floor number that the firm was on. The elevator doors closed and then moved down three levels then stopped and dinged before the doors opened. I walked out of the elevator and I looked on the wall to see the sign has changed. It was now Pearson Romano Specter Litt. I furrowed my eyebrows and then turned the corned and walked down the hall towards Harvey's office.

Tasting my Best Friends

Tasting my Best Friends

I waited in the car for a bit and adjusted myself in the mirror; I didn't appear to have enough lipstick, so I added more, and I was set to go. I checked my phone for any messages, but he hadn't responded. Elliot had a habit of falling asleep when she crushed his heart. I got the brown bag, secured the car, and headed inside; fortunately, the door was unlocked, so I strolled in without difficulty. I placed the brown bag of burgers and fries on the coffee table so my hands could hold the cup of coffee. "What did you bring for me?" My irritating apartment mate, Harvey, was about to touch the bag when I told him to stop. "I wouldn't go in there if I were you." He said, and I fired him with dagg

Under The Eclipse: The Blood Moon

Under The Eclipse: The Blood Moon

Posters of the Moonlight Ball hung on the glass panes and lamp posts, as the small boutiques started opening early. I watched as Harvey stared distantly, mind elsewhere, pancake laid untouched on his plate. He’d been a little too quiet after the conversation we had in the apartment, and I wondered if he, somehow, regretted what he said. “Harvey,” I called, and he turned his attention to me. He looked like he was about to drift to sleep. “Look at all those dresses.” I pointed at the boutique across the street, where two long gowns, worn by two mannequins, stood behind a glass pane.

Winner Takes All

Including the Welches, only a few people knew of that address. Based on how useless Harvey was, it was indeed easy for Susie to trick him into telling her. She might appear to be an innocent and reserved lady to the Welches, but Austin knew that she was a vixen. He was never a casual man, and he wasn't stupid either. Susie was stunned, not expecting him to be that blunt. He didn't even show her mercy. However, she thought of his background. Although he was renting a slightly shabby house, the one billion dollar deposit was real!

The CEO's Contract Wife

The CEO's Contract Wife

That night, after signing the marriage license, Harper hailed a night cab and took Brenda to his apartment. This was one of his few getaway spots and he figured she would be too drunk to remember her home address, so he took her there instead. It was a luxurious penthouse suite located in the heart of the city and cost seven million dollars When they arrived at the apartment, Brenda's knees gave out but Harper caught her before she fell, and carried her to the master bedroom. Before Brenda could properly take in the penthouse layout, Harper turned to leave, but she quickly held his hand and mumbled weakly

The Cursed Lycan-Fire And Ice

The Cursed Lycan-Fire And Ice

Harvey always had tons of meetings everyday and he hated it when he had to postpone them but his friend was special to him and he found it as a rare opportunity for him to see the outside world again and enjoy life as a young man he was. Harvey closed his system, packed his things and stood up. He was about to walk to the door when he looked at his suit and sighed. " I should dress like a young man that I am. Luke won't be okay with me being like this. " He told himself and rushed back to his table. " I should keep this here for a moment. " He mumbled. He dropped his bag on his desk and started putting off his suit while walking toward a looked room. He pressed the password to the door and e

Married at First Sight

She approached Harvey and said, “Mr. Gray, Ms. Hunt said she doesn’t know you. Please leave unless you’re here to talk business.” Harvey fell silent for a moment before replying, “Sorry for the request, but could you let Ms. Hunt know that I live in East Hill Apartments? I scared Ms. Hunt one night and the morning after, after having too much to drink. I’m here to apologize to her.” The server went back to knock on Liberty’s office door. Soon, the server returned and uttered, “Mr. Gray, Ms. Hunt invites you to her office.” Harvey thanked the server and carried the flowers to Liberty’s office.

A Knight for Victory

A Knight for Victory

The familiarity of his touch elicited warm tingles across my skin and I had to bite a smile to keep myself from grinning. Possessive much are we, Arthur? Not that I'm complaining, of course. A few minutes later we arrived in front of an exclusive apartment complex on Fifth Avenue. Arthur guided me up the elevators to the penthouse, located on the 15th floor. This time Arthur is leasing a bigger apartment so that it can accommodate both Astor and Susannah. I'm supposed to be in the picture but my jury is still out, I haven't really made up my mind if I'll be joining them. I guess with everything that has happened between us, it's very difficult for me not to associate Arthur with pain and hea

Great book and storyline. Written well would have given it five stars but there was no ending. It appears as if the author wants to add a sequel but this is a poor way of doing it and I will not be looking at more from this author. Such a shame because the writing is done well.

Hi everyone! This is my first book with GoodNovel and I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it. I’m almost half way through with writing the book as I don’t intend to write a long-winded novel. Let me know what you think of the book. Happy reading! xx F. A. R.
