Waking up in the middle of the night, I hear a noise from the corner and when I see her fangs protrude from her mouth, I know that it is none other than “The Soul Eater” herself. I bolt up in bed with wide eyes and struggle to free myself from the covers, that have wrapped themselves around my ankles so tightly that I can’t get out of them. When she stands up from her crouching position, I note that she is not in her human form this time, but rather in a demon form or something akin to it. Her “True” form, I am pretty sure.

I slashed their throats with my shield; their veins with my saber. Their death cries joined together in a symphony of pain and horror. I reveled in the screams of the dying men, licking the drops of blood as they splattered my face. I fended off thrown daggers with my shield, parried sword blows with my saber and counterattacked. I was destruction incarnate, and I felt happy. I was killing, and the demon blood sang in my veins. Death, death, death to my enemies.

The man put a protective arm around her waist and stood taller, maintaining complete eye contact. He barely registered his beta William shouting at him in his mind, no turning back now. “I, Jackson Hill, challenge you, Sam Silver, alpha of both Silvery Blood and SilverFang to a fight for title!
