ASHLEY’S POV “Summer Royal Academy” The sign read. I walked down the path of the sign until I was staring at a big black gate. It had hefty pillars built on the sides and even though it read ‘academy’ at the gate, it could pass for a prison. “Miss, are you lost?” A very hefty man walked up to me from the gate and questioned. I gulped in a wholesome amount of saliva, terrified by the mere size of the man, before attempting to respond to his question.

Yet somehow… my mind still drifted toward a stubborn eighteen-year-old girl with pink bandages and reckless eyes. Ava. Even after three days away from her, she still found a way into my thoughts like she belonged there. And that was the real problem. I exhaled sharply and grabbed the whiskey bottle from the table, pouring another glass. Outside, Pasadena glittered beneath the night sky. Beautiful. Summer POV "Oh my goodness, they are coming!" Tania screams clutching her head. "Who Tania? Who is coming?" Hermes questions but Tania seems not to hear him. She keeps swaying side to side murmuring things we cannot fully discern. "It's daybreak. The sun is barely up and they are here. No. No it's not this place. Oh God Summer! You have to help your brother Lenny. Help him they are eating everyone up in their way. What are they Summer? Please tell me what are they?"
