Summer Reads Novels & Stories

“Are you interested in some props for the Last Day of Summer Fest? We offer free juice and photos on the side.” “When is the day?" “Pardon?” Valentina looked over at her like she was staring at a grade two child. “When is the fest?” Colleen had no idea so she looked to Tobias for help and thankfully, he answered. “21st of this month. A few superstars like Johnny Crane, and Naomi Statham will be in attendance. I would recommend you get a summer hat for the occasion but unfortunately, we’re sold out. So, how about a tee shirt?”

Tell me quick what to do. Rachel: Shower and bathe every crevice in your body and douse yourself with that jasmine scent you love. He'll love it when he peels you out of your clothes. Wear one of your tank tops so he can get an eyeful of your cleavage and have a hell of a time. Oh and wear your hair loose. Autumn bit her lip, hesitant to voice the fear she'd pushed back. But if she couldn't ask practical Rachel, who then? Autumn: What if my age turns him off? I don't think he knows how old I am, really.

I remind him. We both agreed to that setting and soon Brye had to end the call. “So, walang Lim?” I turned to Ally and nodded, giving her a tight smile. She nods. “Well, it’s the annual gathering of families. They do it twice a year, one after the year starts, and another before the year ends, medyo delayed nga ngayon, and it’s just families getting their kids to get married and bragging about everything” She rolls her eyes, making me smile. I turn to my papers again with a tight smile. ‘I can’t ever understand that world. That’s Brye’s world’.

Summer said while smiling at me. I just smiled. "Thanks." Summer is actually quite nicer than Winter. I just don't know why it seems like Winter hates her so much.

Pov: Caleb “Bye caleb! I am really going to miss you. I’ll come visit you as soon as I can.” Brianna said as she hugged me. Her hold on me was so tight, I felt like I was being suffocated. I could not believe that the summer was already over. It had gone by so fast. I had thoroughly enjoyed myself. The guys and I took full advantage of the summer sun. We swam nearly every day, we had gone on short road trips to places like the Grand Canyon, we partied harder than we ever had. I grew a lot closer to some of my team members.

“I saw you. You were with the Master Vampire. And looks cannot deceive me, unless you suddenly have a shadow clone, which I doubt you do.” “I already told you it wasn't me, or what do you not understand?” The girl scowled, shook her head, then left in annoyance, while Damien on the other hand rolled his eyes before he continued his walk to where the Master had sent him to. •T–––M–––V–––P–––L• Summer was the time for fun and parties, but in Svetyland, the mayor made sure that there was summer school. And it was compulsory for all students of different grades, especially those who attended Svetyland high school.

The third of July bonfire has been a tradition since childhood. Summer glanced up from the wicker chair she was curled in, looking past me instead of at me. The mention of Jenny's name should have pulled some reaction from her, but no. Nothing. Summer liked Jenny, always had. Well, maybe more like tolerated her. Jenny was a local woman I hooked up with once a year while we were on vacation. Nothing serious, friendly even. Of course, I didn't plan on sleeping with her this trip, not after everything with Summer, but Jenny had hung around our circle since we were teens and to leave her out felt unnecessary.

I still didn't get why they liked him. He was handsome, but well… I couldn’t quite get it. Maybe because he was my brother. Summer break was getting close in California, and there was something about the way the sun made everything smell that I loved. I had decided to spend June at my elder brother’s apartment before I resumed college. My brother, Davis, had moved out when he was nineteen and had been living alone ever since he started college. He was pissed off when I told him I was coming over, but what could he do to me?

Nobody is going to come to me. Talking about me, my name is Theodore Reigns. I'm 16, about to enter Junior year in two months when the school reopens after summer break. But to be honest, right now I think it's highly unlikely cause I'm here attending this three day Art camp for next year's senior students, that too in disguise as Elena Griffin, Eastwood's best artist, and so if I get caught, I guess I won't have to go to school again.

“It’s incredible I have to see them.” I followed the nurse. Summer had been moved to a private room but it was full of people. The news of the pack’s heir would travel like wildfire. Summer’s friends, Wren and Lettie all gushed over my son while Henrietta watched like a proud mother. Since she was Roman’s girlfriend she was like Summer’s Mother. “Hey,” I said, my voice filled with emotions. Summer looked up and smiled. I already knew she was so brave. “He’s got his Daddy’s eyes!” Lettie cried.
