Later, I vanished instantly before his eyes. Elowen raised the Soul-Guiding Lantern and walk toward Kael’s soul standing in the pool of blood, "Kael, follow me into the Underworld for reincarnation." Elowen lifted his finger lightly, surrounding Kael’s soul with a beam of ethereal glow. Kael seemed to want to say something, his soul trembling in silence, but no sound came out. Elowen turned and led the way, and Kael’s soul was forced to follow into the void.

“So, she is part demon? One of Dante’s sprogs that slipped through the net?” “No,” Lucas leaned forward to rest his elbows on his knees as a weary sigh escaped him. “Atlas and Amos don’t have wolf spirits remember? Chloe does; Hecate.” “Hecate? What kind of name is that?” “It’s the name of a Greek goddess. As far as we can tell, only the Wolfe line has a wolven spirit with a Greek name. Even Sierra and Alvaro don’t have them. So, how come she has one?” Lucas raised an eyebrow, hazel eyes darkening as the questions piled up. “I think we need to make a call.”

They had such an excellent bond based on their likes and dislikes. The real Monster had not yet finished, but had just started. She would awaken Luther's true monster. She would destroy him and his family. She would make Noelle's life an absolute hell. This is the second part of Monster. *********

“Same as you.” “Why?” he asked. “Is the kingdom at war?” “No,” she assured him. He looked relieved about that, since his father would be called into battle if a war did erupt between Frindom and another kingdom. “I was training to… kill the dragon.” It sounded ridiculous coming out of her mouth now, now that she knew the truth, that Slate was a shifter and that he hadn’t actually been killing the people he took with him all of these years. But it was the truth, and she wasn’t about to lie to Gavin, not now.

Showing them the loot he received, Zen explained it was not for him. “I believe Jessica and you would benefit from the assembled sceptre. I also want one to give to the Death Princess. Think of it as a level-up item. The sceptre is technically unbreakable, and Jessica could use more variety in her summons.” “Wait,” Benjamin dug through his inventory. “I think I have one piece from our last run.” Transferring the sceptre piece in his inventory over to Zen, the group agreed to farm the Skeleton Summoner the same way for another thirteen more times.

She mused, eyeing her, and then her gaze flickered to Hunter. At the same time, Armando's best fighter stepped out of the portals surrounding them. There were so many of them. His whole army was there except him. "Put me down," She whispered and Hunter obliged but still held her close. "I'm excited," Lennox grinned like a psychopath and charged at them followed by Luca. A warrior tried to attack Silvia but Hunter stepped forward. Silvia noticed Rachael was chanting a spell to attack Hunter. Inhaling sharply Silvia used her magic and raised herself in the air as she attacked Rachael who dodged her attack.

He had expected this practical session to mirror that intensity, or even surpass it. But, he was wrong. ‘It’s just been a little over an hour and we’re quitting now? Why…?’ Rey only had to look at the faces of his instructors to understand why. ‘They’re exhausted. I see now… so that’s how it is…’ Summoner was a very rare class to have, and while it was indeed very powerful, it wasn’t invincible. Summoning Magic cost a lot of Mana, which meant those who used it tended to run out of energy faster than regular Mages.

"I won't let them harm us." Aunt Cleo's voice sliced through the air like a warning bell, her words laced with urgency and gravity. "Aqua, you need to grasp the true threat of the coven. They're not just ordinary casters. Each possesses unique abilities, ranging from unnaturally swift regeneration and inhuman strength to the sinister power to manipulate creatures and even people, turning them into spies. Some even boast of an unnerving form of immortality, extending their lives far beyond the natural order. And worst of all, they have the terrifying capability to absorb the powers of other casters."

"Cheerful. What else?" "Banishment requires the blood of the summoner, a silver blade blessed by moonlight, and the complete reversal of the summoning ritual." Connor looks up. "We'd need to identify who's orchestrating this, capture them alive, and perform a counter-ritual at the exact moment of summoning. Timing would be critical—minutes too early or too late, and it fails." "So we need perfect information, perfect timing, and perfect execution. No pressure." "There's more. The Devourer grants temporary power to its summoner during the ritual. Enhanced strength, magical abilities, near-invulnerability. Fighting them will be nearly impossible."
