Summoning Books Novels & Stories

Countless shelves lined with weathered books and scrolls stretched into the distance, promising untold secrets and forgotten wisdom. They made their way through the labyrinthine aisles, their eyes scanning the titles and searching for any mention of Lycans or black magic. Dust danced in the rays of sunlight that filtered through stained glass windows, lending an ethereal quality to their journey. Finally, they discovered a section dedicated to ancient legends and forbidden knowledge. The books here were wrapped in worn leather, their pages delicate and yellowed with age. Rey's fingers traced the spines until they settled upon a tome titled "The Chronicles of Shadows: Unveiling the Secrets of

But it seemed that he was going to have to do it the hard way. “I guess were going to have to do things differently,” he said. Ares grinned widely. “A summons?” He nodded. The other werewolf rubbed his hands together enthusiastically. “Oh, this should be fun.” A summons was an enchantment that tethered a mate to the other. One that made a tattoo appear on their skin, alerting them of the mating bond. It burned until the mate came to find theirs. And if Nora was going to run from him, and lie to him, he’d just make it so that she had to come find him instead.

"There's a leader, a human with a twisted grin. He's holding a ancient tome, bound in black leather. The cover is adorned with silver runes, pulsing with dark energy." Rosalind's vision zoomed in on the book. "The runes are a mix of human and werewolf script. I can feel the power emanating from it, a dark and malevolent force." Cathryn's voice was grim. "That's the Order's grimoire. They've been searching for it for centuries." Rosalind's vision shifted, revealing a massive army of humans and werewolves, gathered at the edge of a city. "I see an army, Mom. They're preparing to strike, to take over the world."

It brought me the comfort I needed. I weaved through the shelves, my fingers tracing the spines of various books in the magic and mythology section. Honestly I was surprised that the Royal Library was bigger than the public library. Who read those books? And then— I collided into something. No, someone. A book called 'Summoners' got my attention. As my fingers reached the book, a person's hand reached the book from my right side.

With all hope seemed lost, the heroes of Ren'veil led by Rio swordtaker found hope in the most unlikely place. They found one of the lost tomes of the Wolf father within the ruins of Galathron it held the rights of summoning. With this tome, they could summon only one hero to Ren'veil though the price to pay for the summoning required a mage and a priestess to enact the summoning rights and bound their Spiritual Energy and their Etherial energy to the summoned hero.

I need to be able to summon and control them. Nozomi closed her eyes and tried to recall her experience of summoning the army of monsters. She slowly placed her hands flat on the floor. ‘What was it again? Gates of the abyss? Sea of darkness? I summon thee?” Nozomi frowned. ‘Oh, just come forth, dark ones. Lend me your power. I need you.’ As the words flowed more naturally, she could focus better on her imagery. Suddenly, her arm was caught in a tight grip and her eyes flew open.

Hope spends the next two hours in the library with Connor, surrounded by ancient texts that smell like decay and forgotten knowledge. "Listen to this," Connor says, reading from a leather-bound grimoire. "The Devourer of Worlds—entity classification: Elder Hunger. Requires thirty blood sacrifices arranged in a pentagram formation. Upon summoning, consumes all life within a hundred-mile radius before returning to its realm." "Cheerful. What else?"

ELLA The pages of the spell book glitter and shine as I flip through them like they have never done before. Gently I turn the pages one by one, mumbling the names of the spells as I pass them by. “Summoning Spell… Tracking Spell…” The symbols on the page morph and transform into readable words before my eyes.

“I think you should look closely before you decide she’s harmless.” He took it from me and unfolded it. I watched his face change, the color draining from his face. That was exactly the reaction I wanted. “What is this?” His voice had gone hard, the same tone he used in council meetings when someone had tested his patience. “A summoning ward,” I said. “The kind used to call things through from places witches keep their darker allies. I recognized the symbol from an old text in the archive. I wanted to be wrong, believe me.”

1. The Summoning Stone Awakens The sky over the capital dimmed before dawn. Not with clouds. With omens. Ava was in the Hall of Prophecies when the Summoning Stone—buried since the beginning of the Trials—cracked open. Mareth gasped. “It’s not supposed to do that unless—” The floor beneath them pulsed. From within the shattered relic, a sigil glowed. Not one Ava recognized. Not wolf. Not witch.
