He looks the same as before — composed, calculating, his silver eyes gleaming in the dim light. “Ah,” he says, spreading his hands. “The prodigal experiment returns.” Liana steps forward, gun raised. “End this.” Arden smiles faintly. “You can’t kill what you are, my dear.
