It made me wonder if we were out to hunt witches. We boarded the carriage and rode off. I sat closer to Lord Korran, while Fenrik sat directly opposite me. I had a book in his hands that he was reading from. “Still reading that witch's book,” Lord Korran said. “You know I've been wondering how a Velkrin could appear without the presence of a vampire,” Fenrik said.

Articles and articles about energy drinks, diet plans, and gym recommendations popped up. Scrolling down, I caught an article about 'Supernatural Beings And Their Powers.' I clicked on it and let the words register in my mind. There were mentions of werewolves, vampires, lycans, mermaids, sirens, warlocks, and whatnot. But in the same article, it was also written that all these creatures are fictional and there was no evident proof to suggest that they exist in reality.

"What kind of book is that?" she asked, her curiosity piqued. "Supernatural," he replied, his gaze intensifying as he locked eyes with her.

~Raven's POV~ A part of Raven had always been skeptical about the existence of the supernatural, dismissing it as nothing more than a figment of someone's imagination. However, recent events had shaken her to the core, leaving her with a sense of unease that refused to go away. Despite her reservations, Raven felt a strange pull towards the paranormal books on the table. It was as if something was drawing her towards them, urging her to explore the unknown and discover the truth for herself. She couldn't help but wonder what secrets these books held, and what mysteries they could uncover.
