Bred For The Alpha Daddies

Bred For The Alpha Daddies

The drug replaced my brain with a raw, starving instinct. My beast clawed at the inside of my skull. It roared in pure, unhinged panic. The heat-inducer tricked my nervous system. It made my body believe it was dying. The only survival reflex left was the primal urge to breed. It demanded a mate. It screamed for relief. It didn't care about love or loyalty. It just wanted to survive the fire. I pushed through a thick cluster of pine branches. The sharp needles scratched my face and chest. I didn't feel the cuts. I only felt the scorching heat.

A VOW TO HATE

A VOW TO HATE

He takes a sit on the chair from his desk instead, placing his head on the foam. “For days I stayed away. Do you know what survival instinct is? When you’re drowning and there’s a battle for air because you just have to.” I find myself nodding to his words as our eyes lock in across the room. “That’s what it is with you. Instinct. I can’t fight it because it’s in my blood. Wired in my mind.” I shudder and he continues. “Do you know what it took to stay away when all I ever wanted to do was fight? You can’t struggle with instinct. It kills you. Literally. But I did. I went against every pull to you. Know what?”

Bitten

Bitten

Always trust your instincts. The gateway out of the park was just feet away when I heard the first, low, rumbling growl. The vibrations rippled through my body. We're always told that in terrifying situations that a fight-or-flight reaction will kick in, but apparently there is a third option: I froze. Not a single muscle moved, as if by staying very still whatever was out there would pass me by. A primal survival instinct held me captive.

Airiane
All I can say is the prologue is so deep and stroking, I like how the story flows, it is also intriguing because the FL is a different from the usual heroine I read in wolf genre. Added this to my library, just read the first 5 chapter and I want to ship her with Max and Jonas actually. :)

I really was amazed by this story. i loved all the characters. Jonas was the father figure. Max gotta love his attitude and of course Maggie. Maggie was strong and dealt with the hand she was given like a trooper. Loved the different take on this story.

Torn Between my Alpha Mates

Torn Between my Alpha Mates

I breathed a sigh of relief and continued on my way. It was a nerve-wracking experience, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for my wolf instincts. Without them, I would have never been able to make it across undetected. The wolf inside me was a double-edged sword; it was too animalistic, too selfish, but it was that animal instinct, that same greedy desire to self-preserve that had kept me alive in the most dangerous scenarios.

The Mother who Fed the Dark

The Mother who Fed the Dark

Lerato’s survival instincts had created variables he had not fully accounted for. They must be tested, the darkness murmured. And you must learn their limits. --- The days that followed were a dance of death and survival. Lerato navigated collapsing walls, sudden fires, mysterious illnesses, and subtle manipulations in the world around her, all orchestrated by Sipho’s hand. She began to recognize patterns, to anticipate dangers, to calculate probability in her own way. The childlike instinct of survival hardened into something almost supernatural. The Keeper was learning something new: resistance itself could be quantified, yet never fully controlled.

Apocalypse Rebirth: Under The Mad Dog's Protection

Apocalypse Rebirth: Under The Mad Dog's Protection

Lucien asked, his voice smooth, low, and dripping with a quiet, lethal danger. I could feel it in the pit of my belly and in the very soles of my feet that this man was bad news. Every single survival instinct I had honed over five grueling years in the apocalypse was screaming at me to run, to turn around and bolt back to the elevator. But there was no turning back now. I had made my bed. If I was going to survive the impending doom in two weeks, I had to confront this monster and bend him to my will.

Rejected By The Alpha Who Claimed Me

Rejected By The Alpha Who Claimed Me

Not out of fear, but because I needed space, space to test my limits, space to forge the strength that would make me unstoppable. The mountains were a memory, the harsh drills and relentless endurance still pulsing through my muscles. My body ached, yes, but it ached with purpose. I had learned to survive pain. I had learned to push beyond what I thought possible. Yet now, in this dense wilderness, survival demanded more than muscle and endurance. It demanded instinct, wit, and courage I had yet to fully understand.

Bound by Vows and Vendetta

Bound by Vows and Vendetta

Too much fire and not enough air. She sat in her study, lights dim, the rain still tapping against the old glass. Before her lay a blank leather-bound book. She dipped the pen in ink, then paused. She wrote: For my son. “The world you inherit is broken. You are not born to fix it. You are born to survive it. This is not a cradle song. This is a manual of war.” She titled the first page: THE BOOK OF BLOOD She stopped. Closed her eyes. Listened to the wind.
