ARIANA'S POV Reginald’s eyes narrowed with renewed interest at my mention of Sylvia. He signaled Detective James to put away the gun, and the man complied, lowering the weapon from Nate's temple. “Who is this Sylvia?” Reginald demanded. My voice shook as I replied, “She’s the lawyer representing Winters Pharmaceuticals.”

Sylvia believed that Connor and Kate were unworthy of Sawyer. Kate stared at Sylvia coldly and said, "A woman like you, who's trying to use her miserable past for gain, will never deserve love. Don't even dream of having a man like Sawyer." Just the thought of Sylvia setting her sights on Sawyer made Kate feel sick. Sylvia laughed. "Your imagination runs wild. I'm old enough to be Sawyer's sister. I just can't stand seeing you Pearsons living happily. Since we can't reach an agreement, I'll see you in court.

Sylvia asked again. "Nothing..it is..just a random stuff" Damien stuttered. "You are lying" Sylvia said. "Honey I'm not" Damien shook his head. "You are, I know what you were talking about" she muttered. "What do you mean?" Damien asked. "I saw the news, Mia filed an assault case against me" Sylvia said and Damien sighed. "I'm sorry.. it's is all my fault, I am just being a bother to you, if I hadn't injured her, none of this would have happened, now you are all worked up cause of me" she muttered as tears slipped out of her eyes.

"Don't you know that I received all of the shares belonging to Cherie Corporation when Marcus and I got divorced?" Sylvia's emotional state crumbled instantly. "What are you being so smug for? You seriously think you can live for a long time, huh? Mrs. Lambert has already hired someone to deal with you! Hahaha! You're going to die soon! Once you're dead, everything will be mine!" I just shook my head while pressing a button to activate the audio recording function on my phone. Sylvia was as idiotic as usual. At first, I wanted to wait for a concrete conclusion on Marcus' health before releasing the audio recording online. But I didn't expect Mdm. Meredith wanted me dead that badly.

“But…Oh my Gosh! How can you be so sure?” “Because I’ve been there before!” Sylvia yelled and my eyes snapped open to look at her. What? A stunned silence stepped in. My eyes were wide open, shining as bright as the electric bulbs, portraying so many questions. “I’ve been there before, Alex ” she continued, her voice clothed with so much bitterness. “I had gotten pregnant for one of the clan Alphas. And without a second thought, I was asked to abort it”. Despite how strong Sylvia was, I could dictate the tone of a person who was on the verge of having a breakdown.
