Sylvia asked again. "Nothing..it is..just a random stuff" Damien stuttered. "You are lying" Sylvia said. "Honey I'm not" Damien shook his head. "You are, I know what you were talking about" she muttered. "What do you mean?" Damien asked. "I saw the news, Mia filed an assault case against me" Sylvia said and Damien sighed. "I'm sorry.. it's is all my fault, I am just being a bother to you, if I hadn't injured her, none of this would have happened, now you are all worked up cause of me" she muttered as tears slipped out of her eyes.

she said bluntly. “She has had a heat before,” Sylvia shook her head. Her voice wobbled. The memory still gave her nightmares. “The doctor said that it burned something inside which left her sterile. She can’t have heats. Check her again,” she pleaded. “Sylvia ,” Lilly pulled Sylvia away from Rose. “Breath,” she instructed with a soft voice. Olivia’s first heat left scars in both of them, although Sylvia’s ran deeper.

It was Sylvia. Zavion had looked through the CCTVs and just like we had all suspected, the abductor was none other than Sylvia. He showed me the footage on his phone. My heart contorted with pain as I saw her taking Penny away in the footage. My child was all smiley and happy as Sylvia tactically steered her off. Nobody questioned or stopped her as they knew she was Ron's mate- a family.

Paul pleads with Sylvia. Sylvia was the one who wanted a daughter and blamed Richard for not being a girl. You seriously think you can live for a long time, huh? Mrs. Lambert has already hired someone to deal with you! Hahaha! You're going to die soon! Once you're dead, everything will be mine!" I just shook my head while pressing a button to activate the audio recording function on my phone. Sylvia was as idiotic as usual. At first, I wanted to wait for a concrete conclusion on Marcus' health before releasing the audio recording online. But I didn't expect Mdm. Meredith wanted me dead that badly.

“But…Oh my Gosh! How can you be so sure?” “Because I’ve been there before!” Sylvia yelled and my eyes snapped open to look at her. What? A stunned silence stepped in. My eyes were wide open, shining as bright as the electric bulbs, portraying so many questions. “I’ve been there before, Alex ” she continued, her voice clothed with so much bitterness. “I had gotten pregnant for one of the clan Alphas. And without a second thought, I was asked to abort it”. Despite how strong Sylvia was, I could dictate the tone of a person who was on the verge of having a breakdown.

I laughed, “Once you hear it, you will never be able to un-hear it. Trust me.” We arrived at the airport and my phone rang just as we were boarding. I answered as soon as I saw Judea’s number, “Hi Judea. Did we forget something?” Judea was crying, “Sylvie! You did it! Hugo is cured. There is no more tumor and all of the little tumors that had grown off of the original one are gone too! Thank you, love. Mateo is a crying mess right now or he would tell you himself. He keeps hugging Hugo.”

“She didn’t give a name. She said you’d understand.” Sienna and I exchanged a look. Because there is only one person who speaks like that. Sylvia. Of course. I straightened slowly. “This isn’t over,” Sienna said quietly. “No,” I agreed. It isn’t. Downstairs, Sylvia was waiting near the large glass windows overlooking the city. Poised. Elegant. Untouched by chaos. She turned when she heard my footsteps. “I spoke to my attorney,” she said without preamble. “So did I.” A faint smile curved her lips.

“What your nephew needs right now is a lawyer. Not a public scene.” The detective glanced around the cafe. Several customers still had their phones out, recording everything. That seemed to finally hit Miss Sylvia. Embarrassment flooded her face. And honestly, I enjoyed every second of it. She spent years humiliating people beneath her. Now she knew exactly what it felt like. “Darius,” she called shakily after the detectives stepped outside. “I beg you. Help me speak to the person in charge of this case.” If only she knew he was the reason they got here so quickly.

Blood rushed to her head, causing a bit of dizziness that she staggered for a moment before regaining her balance. Regardless, her pink eyes shone with determination even as her chest tightened with every breath. Sylvia slammed a fist in her heart and raised her voice. “I am the Duchess of House Winston. By right, I am entitled to a trial to prove my innocence,” she boldly declared. But Lady Clementine, unfazed, began to laugh. She laughed like a child untaught of manners, her folded fan pointed at Sylvia, and her face bearing an expression as if to say, ‘what a daft woman.’
