I forced myself to eat slower, savoring every bit, until it was all gone.

"I'm starving. Get me something to eat, now." Lina jumped at my tone, her eyes widening with fear. "Yes, Sophia," she said, her voice hurried and nervous. "What would you like?" I crossed my arms, my stomach growling with hunger. "A sandwich," I said, my tone dismissive and demanding. "With plenty of ham." Lina nodded, her hands shaking as she busied herself with the sandwich. She added a thick slice of ham, her movements quick and precise. As she finished the sandwich, she approached me, holding the plate like it was a delicate piece of glass.
