"I found out who you were—Matteo Leone, a twenty three year old bisexual man, living in your father's house like a prisoner." He leaned forward slightly. "I learned everything about you—your urm... useless family, and your situation within hours of funding you."

I watched for a moment before walking toward my door. As I was shutting it, I heard Elena whisper, “Go get your man, Auntie.” I shook my head. That girl was a disaster walking, and I absolutely adored the organized chaos that was Elena. I quietly crept down the stairs before slipping out the back door and into the forest. I stopped beneath his tree, looking up, scanning the tree for him but not finding him. “I know you’re here, ‘Sprey. I can feel you.” He sighed as he swung himself down out of the tree. “Hey, Scarlett. I was just leaving. I was hunting a squirrel. They’re fast and good to hunt to keep myself fresh and-”

Abruptly his hands got twisted at an odd angle and he tried to fight the invisible force but failed. The guy was thrown in the air and the next thing his back hit the tree, his bones twisting painfully as that dead body fell on the floor. Hunter stumbled wincing in pain as one of the f*ckers was able to claw at his back taking advantage of his distraction. It could be Agatha, he thought. Hunter killed the f*cker who was on top of him and that was when his eyes fell on the flicker of caramel skin behind the trees far away from him.
