A strange sound resonated throughout the Sword World. The First Sonic Sword Energy, which contained the power of the First Tone of the Chaos' Nine Voices, dashed at the Extraterrestrial Demon’s head. The Extraterrestrial Demon raised his long sword to parry the attack. Creak!!! His long sword cracked, and he suffered a terrifying backlash. His body fell from the sky and crashed into the ground.

Nicole shouts. I arrive at the tunnel entrance just as Tiffany’s claws slash across Nicole’s body. Nicole falls to the ground, on top of the entrance, bleeding. “Stupid bitch!” Tiffany is furious that Nicole is now blocking the manhole cover. Tiffany bends to move Nicole out of the way so that she can get to the children, not knowing I’m behind her. I raise both of my hands, the claws out and sharp, and bring them down on Tiffany with all of my strength. Her body falls to the side in ribbons. Finally she is dead!

Then I hear it. A high-pitched whine, right at the edge of hearing. Ultrasonic. "Stop," I say, grabbing her arm. Isla freezes. I scan ahead. Thermal shows nothing, but the sound is directional, coming from the ceiling tiles ahead. A sonic deterrent. Non-lethal, but designed to drop a man to his knees with vertigo. If we cross that threshold, it’ll hit with the force of a physical blow—nausea, disorientation, total loss of balance.

The void around him was cracking with many black holes appeared. "You are very strong. But if that is all you got, then you can never defeat me!" He looked at Severin with the God-Killing Spear in his hand. He smiled faintly and said, "Submit to me and I shall spare you your life. Think clearly or today will be the day you die." His voice turned into a sonic blast which headed toward Severin. Severin saw it and raised his hand to hit the bell above his head. Suddenly, the bell rang loudly across the sky and shocked the clouds. Immediately, the sound blast was killed off the the sound of the bell.

It was just a small, small distance away… just a little bit and I can finally get out! But then… “Wait.” He… He pulled my tail. “K-kyaaaa---!” What was that?! I felt like my soul was being pulled away from my body! I immediately flailed and was able to get away from his grip. The moment I felt the cold floor on my feet, I immediately dropped down and squeezed myself on the corner. I still feel weird… my tail feels weird!

And all she could do now was defend. She could see that this new attack carried twice the amount of power compared to the one earlier. And that meant that she couldn’t just handle this with her inner energy coat. So she countered with a skill she didn’t need to prepare herself to execute. A special skill much like Silver’s Distort. It was called Sonic Blast. Opening her mouth widely, she inhaled a sharp breath of air, and then violently coughed out this air. But what came out wasn’t a gust of wind. What was returned was a powerful blast that struck against Mane’s blades and did exactly what the skill was named – cause a blast!

Riska shouted at the Master AI. The Master AI blinked, and suddenly a powerful, low-frequency sound wave swept through the tunnel, heading straight for Kevin. VVVVWWWOOOOMMMMMM! Kevin staggered, his hands reflexively covering his ears. His 'Level 3 Synthetic Buff' gave him physical strength, but it did not make him immune to sonic attacks. "Argh! What is this?!" Kevin roared, his protein pistol wavering. "That's a modified version of the 'Sugar Disintegration Sonic Wave,' Kevin!" Riska shouted, her voice firm.

Tyla grinned triumphantly, like she’d just pitched the next great war invention. I sighed. “Any more ideas that don’t involve flatulence?” Quin’s smirk softened into something more thoughtful. “How about a weapon that emits a high-frequency pulse? Causes nausea. It disables without actually killing.” I nodded slowly. “That makes sense. We can call it the Sonic Screamer Pistol.” Tyla leaned forward, eyes bright. “I have another one—how about a dart gun that delivers a psychoactive compound? Something that causes vivid, disorienting visions.”

The notion of such a specialized ability intrigued him, even though he remained cautious. "Tell me more about this 'Sonic Resonance,'" Scott urged, his eyes narrowing as he scrutinized the man's expression. The escaped man nodded, understanding the need to provide further explanation. "With Sonic Resonance, I can generate focused sound waves, amplifying them to destructive levels. I can shatter glass, destabilize structures, and even incapacitate enemies through sonic blasts. It's a powerful but dangerous ability, one that the rogues wanted to exploit for their own gain."
