Mona's breath caught as she stepped inside.
The bathroom was nothing short of extravagant—black marble counters, gold fixtures, and a massive soaking tub sat across from an open glass shower. The mirror stretched across the wall, reflecting the soft glow of recessed lighting.
"If I lived here," she said, awe in her voice, "I'd never leave this tub."
Kane smirked, watching her expression.
He pulled a fresh white towel from the cabinet, along with a brand-new toothbrush, placing them on the counter.
"Thank you," she murmured, her fingers brushing against his as she took them.
