Oceana stepped backwards on ever step the fox made, and she didn't know when she stumbled on a stone and fell. The nine tailed fox wasn't backing down as it moved closer and closer to her. Oceana crawled backwards, and then she fell into a hole.

The shadows of the beasts twisted and flickered under the glow, giving the space an unsettling tension. "Look at that." Landon stopped and pointed to a carving on the left wall. Aria looked over and saw a beast that resembled a fox, but with nine tails. Each tail was marked with colorful patterns. A single horn rose from its forehead, and its eyes were gentle yet alert. Landon remarked, "It's similar to a nine-tailed fox, but different." Aria nodded. "Nine-tailed foxes have pure, unmarked tails and no horns. This one looks strange."
