HER MOTHER’S HUSBAND

HER MOTHER’S HUSBAND

Marcus. He came in from outside, the outdoor jacket, the cold morning on him. He had been in the garden, apparently, the early morning version of a man who needed air and had gone to get it. He looked at the two of us at the counter and he did the reading thing and he went to the coffee without commenting. “Colchicum’s up,” he said. I looked at him. “The corner of the east bed,” he said. “It came up overnight.” He poured coffee. He looked at me over his shoulder. “The bloom. No leaves yet.”

The Alpha's Bonded Healer

The Alpha's Bonded Healer

The greenhouse was impossible. Every hellebore on the north wall had opened wide. The chamomile I’d hung to dry was green again. Living. The foxglove had doubled in height overnight. And along the eastern windowsill, flowers I hadn’t planted were pushing through the soil. White blooms with thin petals and a scent so sweet it made my teeth ache. Night jasmine. It bloomed only in darkness. It shouldn’t exist in this climate or this season. But the bond didn’t care about what should and shouldn’t exist.

One Night With Ex's Alpha Boss

One Night With Ex's Alpha Boss

After Ryan left yesterday, I spent the entire day drawing and labeling each ingredient we’ll need for the antidote, including the rare flower the healers told me is probably gone forever. While researching the Moonlight Fire Lily, I found that it only blooms in full moonlight as well as only blooming in the wild. The image in Sarina’s plant species book was orange and red with hints of yellow at the tips of the petals, making it bright and hopefully easy to locate.

Derena Marie
I was excited reading through blurb that makes the alpha sound different than the cliché snob above his mate but at chapter 35 he is arrogant and appears to know more than the moon goddess deciding she isn't worthy..
Arlenya
Another pathetic damsel in distress story with the arrogant alpha male who claims to protect her, but doesn’t. By chapter 100 the main female charter is almost R*ped like 5times, each time the perpetrators are caught but never punished, nor do the MFC or MMC seek punishment, retribution, or revenge.

His Salvation

His Salvation

It was my handsome stranger, the one who had saved me last night and made my father's punishment a little easier than it would have been should the guards have caught us. My grip presently tightened on the railing, my body shivering not only from the cold air that won over my spaghetti strapped, rose pink evening gown but also from the crash of emotions assailing me. "Antirrhinum. Otherwise known as 'Snapdragons'. They're called so because they resemble the face of a dragon that opens and closes its mouth when laterally squeezed." I was momentarily confused by what he was talking about, my mind too occupied with the anxiety attack coursing through my body. It was also the last thing I though

TANIA'S POV "Awwnn, they are so adorable." I gushed. Mr Andre the gardener smiled. He's a nice man and had given me a tour round the garden while explaining the different types of flowery plants I saw. My last stop was at the Jade Vine plant, one of the most rarest plants on earth. It's so spectacular just as Elle had said. Mr Andre said, they were mostly used as ornamental plants and decorative climbing plants due to their striking colours, with long stems that can reach up to 18m in length. There were different colors of them, but I found the Red Jade Vine most adorable, probably because red is my favorite color.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Thankfully, it did not affect him even the slightest bit. "I have four Water Creak's Morning Glories. They contain spiritual Qi, and with his current Cultivator State, there shouldn't be any problem absorbing its medicinal efficacy." Even though Maya was Caspian's opponent, she did not think twice about taking out four tiny white flowers and feeding them to Caspian. Later, everyone turned to Benedict. "Do I need to?" Benedict widened his eyes. In the end, he could not win over the others' gazes, and he took out a pastel pink precious pill.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Contained in the pool of light was a simple rustic table with a long golden box placed upon it, stood on top of the box was a small vase containing a single white flower, its petals closed giving the impression it was sleeping. Brother Andrew saw Annie staring at the flower. “Ipomoea alba.” he said quietly. Annie frowned at him questioningly. “Or more commonly known as the Moonflower, it only blooms at night, its petals open when the moon rises.” he explained. “It is said that Menai wore them in her hair.”

With a determined expression, she points to her selection, signaling her choice. Finrir, after a moment of consideration, nods toward an oxyplant featuring oval leaves. Its unique characteristics catch his attention, and he feels a connection to it. Tritan's attention turns to a particular oxyplant, recognizing it as his sister's favorite. With one of its many ancestors being an orchid, this oxyplant boasts vibrant purple blooms speckled with bioluminescent patterns.

My Cheating Mate

My Cheating Mate

His arm around my shoulders during pack meals. It was—nice. More than nice. It made the mate bond settle. Made me feel—wanted. Chosen. But underneath—the notes. The threats. The knowledge that someone hated me enough to try scaring me away. Grace was waiting in the garden's new section, examining night-blooming plants with the expert eye of someone who'd spent decades cultivating them. "Rose! Nate!" She smiled at us. "Perfect timing. The moonflowers are just starting to bloom. Rose, you're going to love these—they're native to this region but thrive with the right care."

Ravished By Her Fated Beasts

Ravished By Her Fated Beasts

"This soft blue is amazing, and they seem to flower constantly...it's Plumbago auriculata and we usually put them outside the Temperate House, but I think they're going to land at the north and south entrances. In a sunny spot, they're so reliable and easy...they'll flower all summer." "Over there, that grapefruit's been cranking out fruit...I took some home, and we had them for breakfast the other day." Looking at Jodi, Pete grinned, "Somebody's got grapefruits, bigger than those." She shook her head with annoyance, "This's my teenager trapped in a man's body...but I was thinking we could make Palomas."
