The world was safe. But then, a star fell. Not just one—dozens of them, streaking across the sky, heading toward the horizon. They were not ordinary stars. They glowed with a faint, golden light, the same as the key. Cole’s brow furrowed. He felt the key pulse in his hand, responding to the falling stars. “What is it?” Lila asked. He looked at the horizon, where the last of the stars had disappeared. And in the distance, he saw a glow. A faint, golden glow, coming from beyond the sea.
