Don’t cry because I’ll burn this world into ashes, a sullen mud of pitiable debris if one more tear slid down these pretty blue eyes of yours.”

"Why are you crying?" I didn't even realize the tears had started falling. I quickly raised my hand, aggressively wiping the wetness away from my skin, but the moment I stopped the first tear, another wave hit me. The walls I had built up all morning completely shattered, and the terror I had been suppressing came pouring out all at once.
