He was going to take the rest of the day off even if I had to make him. A door connected his living room to the library. I opened it expecting to find my fiancé, instead I was greeted by a disturbing sight. At the far end of the library, Miles was going through a desk in a small room. A room that existed where the wall should have been.

It has never been my goal to impress my sister with anything I do. I scroll through the books in the library until I come to my favourite section, Mystery. I always love the thrill that comes with not knowing what's going to happen next. You can make it more interesting for yourself if you start to wonder what is happening and what will happen. I take a few glances through the books on the shelves and take a book that looks the most interesting out of all the books I saw. 'In the Woods' by Tana French.

Once in a while, he would raise his head up and look out the window, watching the activities of the world. "What are you reading?" Alex jumped a bit in his seat, startled by the voice that had spoken. It was Amanda, her eyes were still closed as she spoke, but she had taken out her iPods. "Uh... Never trust a dead man, it's a murder mystery book." He told her. "Never trust a dead man?" She laughed. "Why would you trust someone already dead?" She finally opened her eyes looking over at Alex. "Well, it's... It's hard to explain, the book explains it all."

Some titles seemed interesting to him, like ‘How to kill and skin a sand wurm by JJ Rulus’ or ‘The spirit realm unmasked by Sir Tapnes’ and some made him shiver at the thought of their contents, such as ‘A look inside of fae anatomy by Priest Daphne’ and ‘Histories of demonic possession that nearly ended existence by Krun. He had already finished two rows and had started on the third when a slight whispering in his ear broke his concentration, “You must kill.” “What the..?” Rex said out aloud, looking left and right, searching for the person who had made the sound, not being able to see anyone, he followed where he thought the whispering from coming from, rounding the end of the large booksh

Taz turn on a small torchlight which he had taken along with him before sneaking inside the sacred library. Every book in the library was about the blood moon beast. Despite the alikeness of all the books, there was a particular one that caught Taz's attention. It was a grey book with ancient inscriptions. He pulled it out, dusted it and hid it inside his garment and hurried out of the hidden room. Unknown to Taz, as he walked out of the room through the secret door and out of the library, the secret room disappeared and there was no secret library there anymore.

“This one weaves mystery and magic, but underneath, it’s a story about trust and power.” Her face softened. “I’ll take it.” As I wrapped the book, another man stepped in, younger, sharp-eyed, dressed in a rumpled suit. His gaze swept the shelves with a hunger I recognized all too well. “Looking for something… thrilling,” he said, voice low. I leaned forward slightly. “Try The Silent Corner, it’s about secrets that change everything.” He nodded, brows furrowed, then murmured, “Secrets change everything.” The bell jingled again. A teenager, headphones around his neck, glanced nervously at the counter. “Uh, do you have any fantasy? Like with dragons?”

But nothing seemed to match the symbol on my door. Frustrated, I leaned back in my chair, rubbing my temples. There had to be something here, some clue that I was missing. I glanced at the stack of books beside me, my eyes landing on one that looked older and more worn than the others. Its leather cover was cracked and faded, the title barely legible: *The Mysteries of Silverwood.* I pulled the book closer and opened it carefully. The pages were brittle, the text handwritten in an elegant script. As I flipped through the pages, a passage caught my eye:

Drew's gasp cut through Rex's thoughts, causing him to stiffen. To stop. His shoulders tensed as he turned to face his little guy. Looking him straight in the eyes, he was left confused by what he saw . Fear. But why? He took a step forward but noticed Drew took one back. He paused, knitting his brows together and observing Drew's eyes. They had slowly dropped to his hands .
