The Lycan King's Forbidden Craving

The Lycan King's Forbidden Craving

Lylah, deep in thought, heard the sound and rushed to check on her. “Is everything alright, Madam Selene?” she asked the older woman, who was staring at an empty safe. “It was there last week,” Selene muttered under her breath, eyes wide as she reached inside—but it was still empty. “What is it you’re looking for?” Selene glanced back at Lylah. “The Book of Old Tales… the one that contains information about the Ouroboros,” Selene said, visibly disturbed. “It held secrets and…” Lylah’s frown deepened while Selene felt her chest tighten. Her voice dropped low in despair.

Dark, Twisted but really good. At first the story is Dark with too much Twisted scenes. Romance development it's the Best trait in this story. I enjoy it a lot, yet it's not perfect, half the story it's too much to handle with really disturbing scenes. Also I like better the second couple. congrats!

I love this story and writing! The story of Lylah grew on me and where the second part took her. This book became more than the Lycan King’s craving, and it’s now our craving. If you haven’t read this yet I suggest you do! But uh, when will you write more??? Please do. We need to see this through!...

Bound By Magic And Moonlight

Bound By Magic And Moonlight

I press my lips into a thin line and move on. The third grimoire is thicker, darker, filled with the more obscure records I’ve gathered over time, rituals and warnings, fragments of older traditions. My pulse picks up slightly as I flip through it, hoping to stumble across some half-lost truth. I even find references to cursed wolves and blood-bound shapeshifters, but still… no mention of that name. No mention of those red eyes. I lean back, exhaling hard. Just as I’m about to give up, my eyes land on a fourth book, small, unassuming, bound in dull gray hide. One I almost never open. It’s handwritten and filled with anecdotal entries from witches who lived long before my time.

The Sound Of Your Heart

The Sound Of Your Heart

The smell of old paper and musty air surrounded us as we delved deeper into the shelves, searching for something that would catch our attention. Tyler, being the curious one, was fascinated by the ancient tomes bound in leather and adorned with golden lettering. He ran his fingers over the spines, whispering the titles out loud as he searched for something that might interest him. I, on the other hand, preferred the more modern books, their covers sleek and glossy, promising exciting adventures and thrilling stories within their pages. As we explored, the sound of rustling papers and creaking wood echoed throughout the room, creating an eerie atmosphere that sent chills down my spine. But de

Her Hidden Power

Her Hidden Power

She gripped her fork until her knuckles whitened. When the meal ended, she slipped away, retreating to the library. The old room smelled of leather and dust, the towering shelves lined with volumes far older than the house itself. She trailed her fingers along the spines, searching for something she did not know. Answers, maybe. Proof she wasn’t losing her mind. One book caught her attention not because of its title, but because it seemed out of place. Its spine was smooth, newer than the rest, its dark cover marked with an unfamiliar sigil. She tugged it free, pulse quickening as she flipped it open.

THE LYCAN KING’S CLAIM

THE LYCAN KING’S CLAIM

I switched on the desk lamp instead. Shelves lined the walls, stacked with ancient texts, grimoires, pack records, occult documentation collected over generations. If this “Hollow” existed in any form of recorded knowledge, it would be here. I began scanning through titles, one after the other I reached for one of the oldest volumes on the shelf. It was dusty and leather bound. I carried it to the desk and opened it carefully. Handwritten I flipped slowly this time. More deliberate. And then— My eyes caught it.

The Broken Luna, Reborn

The Broken Luna, Reborn

I knew because I had been here for two days, reading. Learning. Amongst the trunk full of books Tessa had gotten for me I had been reading about witches and wolves. nothing new. Today I rummaged through the trunk and pulled out the thickest, black leather cover and the title unlike the rest. ‘Chronicles of the Abyssal eater’ Though it was in faded silver letters, I could see it perfectly. I took the book over towards the desk I had been sitting on and opened it. I could smell the old pages and the smell of mold made me scrunch up my nose.

Alpha’s Rejected Luna, Reigning Lycan Queen

Alpha’s Rejected Luna, Reigning Lycan Queen

My eyes fell on a shelf, and I could see the most ancient books there. I grabbed one that looked strange among them. Then I leaned against a wall to read it calmly. The brown leather cover was torn from the corner of the book. As I opened it, I realized the edges of the pages were black with soot. 'This is weird,' I muttered. 'Someone tried to destroy this book. But who?'” I flipped to the first page and my heart stopped. Three words stared back at me… "Hell of Lycans." I gasped, the sound echoing through the silent library.

But deep down, I couldn't shake off the unsettling feeling that something supernatural was at play. Summoning my courage, I decided to investigate further. With trembling hands, I reached for the book my grandmother had given me—the book I had never opened. Perhaps there were answers hidden within its ancient pages. I carefully untied the ribbon that held it closed, revealing a beautifully crafted cover with intricate patterns and symbols.

Ruby Fridays

The clock's pendulum ticked ominously in the background, counting the seconds as they slipped away into oblivion. With a deep breath, I turned another dusty page and continued reading into the night, oblivious to the shadows slowly gathering around me. As I knew, something dark and forbidden lays, was waiting to be discovered between the yellowed pages. But if I chose to open this book, what shadows might be unleashed upon the world? What secrets did this mysterious books seek to protect? Turning the ancient volume over in my hands, I felt an almost magnetic pull from within its dusty covers. The old book's pages were worn and tattered, the ink faded with age yet still legible to those who k

...... Never read a book well written like this before. Full of emotions, and surprises. The cliffhangers are just............ I don't know what to say aside from the fact that it's soooooo good! I'm happy I had seen this in the most popular stories section. Hope it will be on the front page next......

Torn Between The Alpha Twins

Torn Between The Alpha Twins

I opened it gently, its pages whispering promises of untold tales. My eyes scanned the words, my mind eager to unravel the mysteries hidden within. However, my attention kept veering towards the dusty tome beside it, its ancient cover demanding attention. And besides this one has a tale on the Goddess and how werewolves are bound to her. The antique book beckoned me with a sense of reverence, as if it held answers that transcended time itself. Unable to resist, I carefully laid the silver-covered book aside and opened the antique tome. The scent of aged paper enveloped me, transporting me to eras long gone. My fingers traced the weathered pages, their delicate texture speaking of countless h

Everyone's first thought is Project Gutenberg, and it's solid, but have you dug into their 'detective fiction' bookshelf? They've got these curated lists that group the real old-school stuff. I ended up reading a bunch of Jacques Futrelle's 'Thinking Machine' stories from there, which I'd never heard of before. You just download the EPUB and it's yours.

Also, don't sleep on archive.org. It's not just scans; their 'Open Library' lets you 'borrow' digital copies for an hour or two, which is perfect for sampling. The interface is clunky, but finding a first edition scan of an Anna Katharine Green novel feels like uncovering a physical artifact.
