"But I think this doesn't count to my race, once all the powerful faes can read minds. But just a few can control them, it's a really rare thing." He explained to me. "Oh okay, this makes sense. I almost forgot that it's a little different for each one of the races. So, what do you want me to do?"

“You’re like a shadow warrior.” I shrugged, feeling a little shy. “It’s just one of the abilities. Watch this.” I focused on a small rock on the ground, lifting my hand slightly. The rock began to levitate, floating in the air before I set it back down gently. Lorenzo watched with rapt attention, clearly impressed. “Telekinesis,” I explained. “It took me a while to mater but now I can easily lift things.” Lorenzo’s eyes widened in amazement. Finally, I conjured a small flame in the palm of my hand, letting it dance in the air before extinguishing it.

Rex spoke up. “It is both a blessing and a curse.” Alec said, stepping back to stand next to his brothers. Next Tristan stepped forward and held out his hand for Kyra. Her hand came up to meet his rather quickly and then she gasped. “Tristan is what I like to call a mind freak. He is a telepath and also has the ability of telekinesis. Even if there is not a connection, he can mind link with anyone. Probably one of the reasons he doesn’t speak. He can read others' thoughts, but he doesn’t unless he feels the need. And he can move things with his mind.”

He jumps, “What the fuck?!” I giggle, “Um, I needed them. I'm gonna ask you questions and write the answer and then destroy the paper. It's how my brain works and how I commit things to memory.” He looks confused, “You just wished for the pen and paper?” I nod. “That's not a vampire thing. We don't have telekinesis outside of being able to compel. We can't control inanimate objects,” he says, as his gaze roams over me. “That's a witch's ability, through a spell; or a higher being, like an angel or demon.”

It was seductive and sensual at the same time. But I never felt fear from it. “Now, where are we?” He asked me as I was gulping at him. His green eyes were looking at me before I licked my lower lips. “You will allow me to get your sample before my payment,” I said as I was leaning closer before Aaron was removing his hands from the chain. How did he do that? “My gift is telekinesis and telepathy. I hope you will not tell other people about it,” he whispered before I was snaking my hands around his neck, pulling him closer as I was sniffing his body odor.

“You said he was safe—” “He is safe,” Aldric assured me. “But the power growing in him is extraordinary. The telekinesis and enhanced sight were expected. What is emerging now is something more—a capacity to sense and connect with pack bonds on a deep level. To see them, feel them, and possibly even strengthen or create new ones.” He leaned forward, his ancient eyes intense.

I fell to my knees, panting, my fingers curling into the soil. When I finally looked back up, still panting, I saw that Freya was nodding in approval with a faint smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. “Well done, child. But remember, each use of your power drains you. You cannot rely on brute force alone.” Her words rang true, because that shockwave had left me feeling drained, my limbs heavy and my head pounding. Finally, we delved into the last of the three main abilities: the art of telekinesis, the ability to manipulate objects with nothing more than the power of my mind. This was by far the most challenging aspect of my training, as it required an immense level of focus and control

I open my eyes and feel a little dizzy. Letting out a breath, I look at the hagstone hexes on my wrists. I can’t touch the hexes with my fingers, but I wonder…no, it wouldn’t work. My powers of telekinesis come from being a witch. And the charms specifically block out witchcraft.

"Telekinesis… That's a martial god's ability. Andrew, how did you do that? Or is it the sword?" Andrew nodded. "That's right. I've already learned a bit about this Godslayer. It's kind of alive. As long as I call out to it telepathically, it'll fly into my hand on its own. Of course, there's a distance limit. If I'm too far away, it won't work."
