Leonard gave him a briefing and his suspicions about what could be going on and the both of them agreed to meet the next day at the company to talk about it. Meanwhile, Andrea had woken up with a nightmare. It was something she used to have often when she was much younger and just brought to the orphanage. *It has been a while since I had this nightmare. Why is it coming up now?* She thought to herself as she thought to get a cup of water to ease her dry throat. Andrea also tiptoed, because she felt that she must have exhausted Edward with the incidents that happened that day and that it would be unfair to disturb his sleep.

I asked, squinting my eyes trying to get a glimpse of the stranger. “Oh please I know more than your name bunny, I know everything about you” he said taking two more steps. “So you are a stalker then, how long have you been stalking me?” I panicked as I took more steps back. “I’m not a stalker bunny, I’m your nightmare” the voice said and just like the wind he disappeared into the shadows like he was never there, my heart sank into my stomach as his last words echoed in my head. I’m your nightmare.

I assured him, though I did lean on him as we left my room. “I was having a nightmare. There was a wailing baby, and every door I opened was dead. And when I finally got the crib, there wasn’t a baby, just blood.” I recapped my nightmare, shaking as I tried to hold back tears. “Well, that’s freaky. I’ll give you that.” André nodded. “And you woke up to find the blood?”

he orders me again, he didn’t have to say it, but lucky him, I’m too tired, all I wanna do is fall asleep, so I let it go this time and I don’t argue with him over it. Lately, well since the day that Theo has left, I’ve been having weird dreams, it’s dreams about wolves, Theo’s wolf, James’s wolf, and Milo’s wolf, I could see them all in my dreams and some other wolf that I have never met before. The new wolf scares me, the wolf is white and small, very small, maybe young even? In every dream I have that wolf would be looking at me with a raised brow, the wolf would be growling at me sometimes or wanting to play with me and it scares me, that wolf scares me a lot.

I pushed it open silently and entered. It was everything I had expected. The exact opposite of my room. The themes here were black and grey. Black furniture, grey walls, grey and white beddings. The air conditioning was off, but it was so damn cold in here, the air so tight I could hardly breathe. Or it was just the fact that I knew my presence here was wrong. It was much bigger than my room, obviously. And I liked it. I was someone who suffered from nightmares, but paradoxically, the darkness here, was calming.

Leon snapped, frustrated. “If that were really the case, then I’d be dreaming about her, not having nightmares.” The therapist, used to patients with emotional outbursts, remained calm and unbothered. “You’re misunderstanding me, Mr. Spencer,” he said gently. “Nightmares aren’t always caused by fear. Sometimes, they stem from overwhelming sadness or emotional imbalance.” Leon took a deep breath and gave a slight nod. “That girl… she’s a therapist too. I used the excuse of getting treatment to get close to her. That day was our final session. She hypnotized me and said…”
