I said, brushing away strands of hair from my face. "Nightmares do not make wolves sound like they're dying. This…sounded as though you were fighting for your life. Tell me, what was it?" His expression stiffened as his brows pulled into a frown. I looked at him, but the look in his eyes told me he would not let this go. I sighed and shifted against the bed while he settled beside me. "Would you believe me if I told you some nightmares are memories?” Dominic's brows knitted together in confusion.

He just didn't want to see it. Now, on the forty-first night, the nightmare is worse than ever. His face is turning pale. His lips are blue. In his dream, he is drowning. I can feel it—the terror radiating from his small body like heat from a furnace. His heartbeat is a drum. His breath is a thread about to snap. I want to help him. I want to wake him up. I want to flip him over. But the blanket is pulled tight. And the rule is absolute.

I arched up my eyebrows at his idea of the game and wondered that whether this all was actually happening or everything was just a beautiful dream. "Mayra I've learned from you that words has enormous power and sometimes few sweet words and a beautiful smile like you can change a nightmare like me. So let's share our stories which were locked in our mind from so long." He suggested but I noticed the sad tone in his voice when he called himself as the nightmare. I held his palm little tightly and tapped my finger softly over it. He sighed deeply.

If the humans in the blood bank have been here long enough, they may not have a natural immunity to the Nightmare and they could be at risk if they leave the building." I explained. "No shit?" Paul asked and my family all nodded in agreement. "You really found a way to save them?" Stone clarified.

It cannot even be past six pm, yet all of us have eyes heavy like lead weight. I feed Lora and place her down in her crib and then I sandwich myself between Khai and Theo on the bed. Jess sat up right and once more it was pitch black, that’s when jess understood what this was. “My nightmares.” Jess whispered, her voiced echoed in the darkness, but it was as if Jess had just said the key for everything to explode.
