The 7 Elements Novels & Stories

A LONG time ago, there were four elements, and a nation guarded by the four goddess who possessed the power of the elements, air, fire, earth, and water. They were used to be united for the same goal and that is to protect people from the evil of darkness. Everyone was happy and content in that state but that changed when one of the fairies got pregnant, the one who was holding the power of the air. When people found out about it, they were not happy with the news.

"Explain" "As you may know, Nature consists of five elements - air, water, fire, earth and aether. Now, mages, as you are aware, wields the power to control elementals." He looked at them, giving them a pointed look as if saying 'you should know this.' Vrisha nodded.

No one knew the original honorifics for the gems, every people seemed to have their own names for them, similar to how every people or religion has their own deities and calls them all something different. Anyways, we mages know them as Essence Gems. Whereas the werewolves call them Midgard Crystals. The vampires used to call them Blood Crystals, but now they refer to them as Soul crystals. Anyways, long desciption short, they're all the same thing, and there are seven of them. Each one represents a different branch of magic. Golden didn't hesitate as he finished the Quest and quickly went to check what kind of elemental ability he had obtained. The new line in the Innate Talent Menu was [Lightning Elemental Affinity: Perfect grade] with a simple description. [The best affinity to practice Lightning magic.] It wasn't that the Lightning element was bad, but it was harder to practice than other elements with the same affinity, and the overall power of all the normal elements was almost the same. Thus, the Lightning element couldn't be considered popular. There were seven normal elements: fire, water, wind, earth, Lightning, light, and darkness. Each had their pros and cons, but everyone acknowledged them as equals
