The Abyss Novel Novels & Stories

BOOK FOUR: THE ABYSSAL TIDE (Jace’s Perspective) If you drop a stone into a pond, the water ripples away. If you drop a localized gravity well of pure planetary core into an abyssal metropolis, the water doesn't ripple. It screams. Thousands of Abyssal Crawlers and dozens of towering Leviathans surged toward us. They moved with a synchronized, terrifying fluidity, their high-pressure liquid bodies cutting through the dark water without making a single sound.

The night is still young, the stars are just starting to show themselves in a cloudless but cold evening, reminding the people who are out for a walk or for dining or just roaming around that in the morning, the rain came and washes away the dust accumulated by the pollution which is the product of human's uncaring for the environment. Even Cassandra noticed how beautiful the night stars are and asked Imman to look out of the window to see the scenery. She was surprised when the lawyer recounted the night when he was seven years old and saw the twinkling stars above his head. "It was a beautiful evening way back then, Cass! It was cold and cloudless but I have never forgotten that night - th

POV DARLENE The Abyss was no longer just a hole in the earth; it was a rhythmic, breathing lung of the planet that exhaled the concentrated sorrow of nineteen generations. As Eryx and I stood at the jagged edge of the rift, the Black-Emerald light rising from the depths didn't just illuminate the ruins of the North—it "translated" them into a landscape of obsidian and grief. The black butterflies that had carried Hope away were everywhere now, their wings beating with the sound of a thousand whispered apologies that were never sent.

It is a realm where the boundaries between the known and the unknown blur, where unseen perils and hidden wonders lie in wait. The abyss is a world of secrets, revealing glimpses of eerie rock formations and ethereal creatures as the carriage moves through its depths. Bioluminescent organisms, casting faint glows in various hues, become the only source of light, their soft radiance offering a glimpse into the enigmatic abyss.

Knight had a split second to frantically wonder if the other man was hit before he, too, fell, the ground disappearing beneath his feet. The wrenching sensation of a teleport was as terrible as the last time he’d gone through one. It was as if his entire body was turned inside out for an impossible moment before the world settled itself again, even if his stomach didn’t immediately follow suit. Knight suddenly found himself, along with his team, in the midst of a compound that looked to be embedded in a mountain, far from the flatlands of Kansas. Fuck! Where the hell are they? ................

“You mean you don’t remember? Julian… you got abducted last night, right here, in front of everyone.” She thought back to how it went down yesterday, and It was a miracle that he was still alive. “Serious?” He couldn't tell if Jasmine was playing with him or not? He felt his heart drop, a chill creeping down his spine. “Abducted? Are you messing with me, Jasmine? ‘Cause if you are, this is really not the time.”

The transition between worlds had not brought Dave the sanctuary he sought. Instead, it had brought him to the very heart of the abyss, where the darkness was not merely a shadow, but a living, breathing entity that coiled around his lungs. But the physical distance between Oakhaven and the throne of the abyss was nothing compared to the violent rupture occurring within his own blood.

Steven replied. “Firstly, how did all the council members get killed and replaced without a single soul knowing about it? Even their families are unaware that their husbands and wives are fake. Secondly, what are abyss demons?” Noah asked. “When abyss demons with the ranking of lords kill mortal beings, the person is instantly teleported to the abyss realm. They must have learned everything they had to know about the council before hand, so their job was clean. Abyss demons are creatures from a realm in a completely separate reality from ours. It's a lot to explain, but you'll find out enough when you encounter one yourself, Noah Montgomery,” Gabriella spoke.

I couldn’t just sit here. I couldn’t hide while they fought for me. Shoving the door open, I stepped into the hallway, my breath catching in my throat. The house was eerily silent now, but outside—chaos. I moved to the door, gripping the frame as I looked out. Bodies. Everywhere. Some torn apart, others motionless in pools of blood. My stomach lurched. What the hell was happening? Then I saw him. Abaddon. He was in the center of the carnage, moving like a storm, like a force of nature. Faster than any man should be able to.

everything resonated perfectly with a Role play game I used to enjoy every evening. Don’t tell me the so called blessing of the Abyss is to reincarnate me as her?! No, that cannot be! I demand damage and interest right now! This whole thing is a fraud! I suddenly opened my eyes and the first thing I said upon waking up is
