Another warning. Then a third, sharper this time, the letters seeming to pulse against the black screen. Finally he leaned back, defeated, rubbing both palms down his face. "Someone else has administrator control." Damien frowned. "Who?" "I don't know." The technician hesitated, his throat working. "But whoever it is..." His voice dropped. "They outrank the CEO."

Then resumed. He typed his credentials. Full executive clearance. System processed and then— **AUTHORIZATION INSUFFICIENT** Adrian froze. For the first time, something close to disbelief cracked through his control.
