The Air He Breathes Novels & Stories

I nearly choke on air as I fight to greedily gulp through my mouth and nose. It's impossible under the weight to expand my chest and lungs to inhale properly. I can only manage hasty shallow breaths. I don't quite comprehend what's happening and it's only adding to my growing terror. His back is to me as he straddles my chest. He's so heavy, and it's tiring just to get my air in. I wish I could just see him. I can't read him, let alone without being able to face his face and mannerisms.

He tried to speak but water rushed down his throat, choking him. The siren swam up to him and kissed him deeply. [Breathe]...,she whispered in his head. Xavier took a deep breathe and water flowed into his lungs easily. He didn't choke this time, instead the water felt like cool air in his lungs and throat. [What is the meaning of this?],he asked her with his mind.

He shrugged when I thought hard, why is he behaving suddenly distance with me? He silently sat, looking at the sky. Breathing it like this was the air he got after a long time. Well, he does really likes high places. We always met before at high places. Because he liked inhaling the fresh air. He use to tell me that, while breathing this fresh air, he felt he was releasing all the worries when he exhaled. And he breath right now, as if he haven't released it in a while.

He pressed the damp towel to his face, his chest rising and falling slightly. The air in the room was thick with something unspoken. She could even hear his breathing. It was heavy and full of restraint.

My lungs have constricted and I can’t find the strength to take a breath of air. What does this mean..? He… owns me?

He still cannot control his skin dropping off turning into liquid substance tho. What's more, is that no matter how loud or many times he shouts he hasn't experienced any problems in his lungs even tho he breaths less air than he could that he's having difficulty breathing. (I kinda miss touching my phone for once. *sigh* I hope this evolution has more than this. Since I still have plenty of time left I'll just observe what will happen for now.)

From within him, a deep, rumbling growl surfaces louder and louder. The stillness of his chest moves in and out as if he is trying to catch his breath. I knew this was wrong. How could he? He is a vampire. Vampires don't breathe. They are fucking dead.
