Romans & histoires The Alpha King's Rejected Mate

“She is still here in the pack, right?” “Yes,” he answered. He glanced at Elena and the children before turning to face me. “She is leaving, Alpha. She is leaving today, and she told me to inform you personally.” I opened and closed my mouth, clearly short of words. I remembered that my wolf had howled her name, calling her ‘Mate.’ I know she had felt that bond too, but I didn’t even think twice about disregarding her after hearing everything I wanted. Sebastian stepped closer and looked at me with soft, pitiful eyes. “Alpha, I know what happened,” he said barely above a whisper. “I don’t know why the Moon Goddess would grant you another mate, but…”

I haven’t gotten to finish my words when the next thing he said shatters me. “Oh, please. I don’t think you deserve someone like me. A mere commoner and omega like you are not suitable for the future alpha of this pack. Do you really think I will help you and embrace you with open arms?” He said then harshly held my chin while looking into my eyes, “You are not the mate that I want and the girlfriend that I have right now will be the Luna of this pack, so let me tell you this, I rejected you as my mate. You got that?”

Astraea said with a bewilderment, after she could not understand why he brought her to the temple, in front of the statue of the gods He closed his eyes for the last time, before approaching her, looking into her eyes and in a moment he was saying "I am the Alpha Xavier, King of the Werewolves. I refuse Astraea Florin as a mate destined for me by the gods." Her eyes widened, and she felt her heart come out of its place, while he was looking at her sadly, before approaching her, and imprinting a soft kiss on her lips, as if he was saying goodbye to her. Without even looking at her, he take out his wings and fly away from the place, leaving her standing in the middle of the temple, in the mids

He would never forgive me for that humiliation. I was tired of lying to the one person who had shown me kindness. “He’s my mate,” I said simply. “WHAT?!” June screamed so loud I was sure the whole building heard her. “What are you talking about? Are you saying the Alpha King is your fated mate? Then why are you here working as a maid? You should be our Luna, our queen! Why are you serving him instead of ruling beside him?” “It’s a very long story, June,” I said tiredly. “You’re asking so many questions at once. Yes, he’s my fated mate, but he rejected me. This was back when I had no wolf, I was completely wolfless when we first met.”

“I want to and I will. That liar’s skull will be crushed by my hands but not now. I want some time to stay with her.” Alpha King was smiling gleefully, amused by Alpha Eric’s desperate tone as he was enjoying his pitiful condition by stalling time. “I have found my mate after fourteen years of wait. I do not think you need any further explanation.” “You did not mention before that she is your mate.” Alpha King become serious instantly, his voice laced with shock. “I also find it just now. If there’s nothing else, I will take my leave. Farewell, Your Majesty.” “Do not reject her because she is a vampire, Alpha! Mates are not easy to be found!”

Great fate I know. Today The Alpha King is sending a car for me because I did not find my mate and unfortunately I will be at his disposal. I've heard stories about him being cruel, ruthless, and showing pity on no one. They say he killed his own mate? Because he hates women that much. I on the other hand would love to find my mate to have that pull to someone with a bond so strong that It can't be broken. I sigh at the thought It would be nice It just wasn't meant to be. My thoughts are interpreted by the ring of the door bell.

"Your Majesty. My apologies for the sudden drama. Our pack would like to ask for your presence as well as the future queen of the kingdom of Vernice." "It would be an honor, Alpha Wade. After all, Alpha Erik was once my alpha," I answered, smiling. Did this asshole know I was his son's fated mate before he rejected me? “And Alpha Erik was also my ex-mate before he rejected me, of course,” I added, laughing. Lady Juliana and Alpha Wade did not share my happiness. The latter’s face was more of a shock. ‘River,’ the alpha king said, using our mind link. ‘Was that necessary?’

We are merely strangers now, familiar strangers tied by the kid they have. “Then take it back,” He cut me, his hand moved to the back of my neck, making me turn around to look at him so our eyes held each other’s. “I, Alpha King Adrian Moretti do not accept your rejection, Camilla Castello.” He stated, his tone never wavering and so did his gaze. “Let me be your mate again.”

I said, avoiding Emma's glaring eyes. "And why are you here?" "Because this story concerns me as well," I offered. "I am the Alpha King's second-chance mate." She smiled a little as her eyes traveled up and down my body. I knew she wasn't impressed by what she saw but I didn't let it affect me. "His second-chance mate? Is that so?" "Yes," I said calmly. "Only, the problem is that his first mate isn't dead, nor did he reject her openly."

"Are you really going to the club?" Eline asked her friend disbelievingly, from the door. "Yes," Was all Ismena answered as she stood before the old mirror and sampled another dress. Eline was sad watching her friend who has been trying to find 'an appropriate dress' for a while now. She'd been cooking in the kitchen when Ismena walked into the house with tears in her eyes, her shoulders drawn in defeatedly. She'd asked, and the human female had told her that she confirmed with the Alpha King. Indeed, she is his mate, but he rejected her.
