She's only a big fish in the well, and many are stronger than her outside. She have two main objectives; first is to be able to join the Alpha King's main soldier, called Phantom, and second is to utterly subjugate the rebellion group, Parasite, led by the infamous Rouge Alpha, Lorcán. As far as she knows, her parents died because of the rouges. She wants to avenge her parents' death—that's why she's aiming to be stronger. And now, she's training while they are on their journey to the palace, after the Alpha appoints her to be the one to company his daughter, Colleen Greenstone, as she is chosen to be one of Luna's candidates.

Recognition filled his eyes the moment he took in the sight of the alpha. "Why is there a rogue on my land," he asked again. His voice was much deadlier and it was directed at the beta. "She was lost" "That doesn't change the fact that she's a fucking rogue" "She is harmless " the beta defended. "Harmless? did you just refer to a rogue as harmless? You know the current situation with rogues and you were going to let one walk away freely from our land?" "Without investigating her? Or letting me know?" The beta didn't respond.

The Alpha left me alone in the cold, silent war room. The schematic of the city stared back at me, a map of territories and power plays that meant nothing. All I could see was the grainy video feed. The monster. The thing that might be my father. It operates on instinct and rage. It has no humanity left. You remember the man it was. The Alpha’s words were a cold seed of hope planted in frozen, barren ground. How could memories be a weapon against that? How could the smell of burnt pancakes and the sound of a familiar laugh stop a beast designed to tear me limb from limb?

When he finally spoke, his voice was smooth, easy, cutting through the space like a knife sliding through silk. “Rogue Alpha Kenzo Raine.” His tone was neither bombastic nor stinging, but it didn’t have to be. It commanded attention nevertheless, a still authority that caused Victoria’s stomach to knot. “Do you know who I am?” Kenzo exhaled, the edge of his mouth twisting up in an almost-smirk. He turned his head, never wavering his gaze at the man in front of him. “I’ve heard stories,” he said, his voice rasping, some raw scrape from the fights he had already fought tonight. “Executioner. Enforcer. The High Council’s pet monster. “You have a lot of names, don’t you?”

But fear. “…You’re sure?” his voice cut through the quiet. One of the rogues nodded quickly. “I saw it myself.” The Alpha’s eyes narrowed slightly. “…Say it again.” The rogue swallowed. “She’s not normal.” A low chuckle escaped the Alpha. “None of them are.” “No,” the rogue insisted quickly. “This one is different.” That caught his attention. The Alpha tilted his head slightly. “…Different how?” The rogue hesitated, glancing briefly at the others before speaking again.

They parted to form a corridor, and a familiar figure strolled through, voice dripping with contempt. "How pathetic, dear brother. Didn't I tell you never to come back?" It was Adrian's own brother — the one who'd stolen everything from him. Adrian's eyes burned the moment he saw him. "Damien, you have the nerve to show your face? If you hadn't set me up, I never would've—" Blood erupted from his mouth before he could finish. Seeing Adrian so broken, Damien looked positively delighted. His grin widened, features twisting into something ugly. "You'd better remember your place. I'm the Alpha now. You're nothing but a rogue who got thrown out of his own pack."

AJ is like a brother, the brother I never had but always wished for, so it is easier to talk to him. “No ... he would just get upset and ... Well I don't know”.
