The Beast In Me Book Novels & Stories

I stole it from him because he forbids me of touching his things in his workplace. The book title was "Beauty In Immortality", I wondered what is it all about but my forehead wrinkled when nothing was written inside the book. All of the pages were blank. I throw it in my bed and days passed. I opened it and started to see some words slowly written on the first page. It was magical like it was a book of magic. It was also creepy but I was interested and there I read a weird story that I realized was talking about me.

Let them fear me. Inside my room, I turned the faucet on, letting the water run until it steamed. The blood swirled down the drain as I scrubbed my hands, though the stain of what I had done lingered in my mind. I splashed water on my face, letting it cool the fire still burning in my veins. My reflection in the mirror stared back at me, my eyes still faintly glowing red. I took a deep breath, willing the Beast to retreat. For her sake, I needed to be calm and under control.

His heart was frozen, filled with tar. He was a Beast. And nothing would change him. He was a skilled manipulator. One that made you doubt yourself. More than physical torture, he aimed for mental one. A part of me was worried. Even scared for this man with warm eyes. He looked like he hadn’t faced the darkness of this world. Like he wasn’t tainted with the filth I was sinking deep in. For some reason, I wanted to keep it that way. ***

I paused when my fingers landed on the book I had been previously reading, the one the King had told me specifically to stay away from. Without much thought, I grabbed the book and turned to the chapter I had last stopped on, it was called soulmates to the beast. I read for what felt like hours about what the villagers thought about the beast and I found myself growing more and more afraid, the more and more I read. He had wiped out villages all around the castle in a rampage of anger, he killed thousands of people and left their bodies in the street and only stopped once the sun began to rise again and the sky became painted as red as the blood on his body.

But my hands refused to close the book. The children ran. They screamed. They called him a monster. An animal. My throat felt dry now. And so the name stayed. Beast. I swallowed hard. The elders decided his fate before the sun rose. Such things could not be allowed to live among them. A cold heaviness settled in my chest. They dragged him to the well at the edge of the village. My grip on the book tightened. He begged he cried, he pleaded for his parents to help, but none of them did, they only looked at him… Their eyes filled with hate

0 I put both pictures back but continue to read the book. What fills these pages is pure insanity. It’s a werewolf’s guide to pregnancy. It’s extremely detailed, and the more I get into it I start to think about the thing in the woods that seemed to transform right in front of my eyes. I had chalked that up to just being terrified and possibly insane with fear. But now I’m not so sure. I remember the beast’s eyes, they were bright and otherworldly... 0

Once again, the divine beast clan ceases contact with the outside world to avoid the threats of the total extinction of the Four Divine Beast Clans. Such fate is cruel. "I guess... life sometimes is cruel," I murmured as I finished reading the book. I felt conflicted and emotional. I grabbed another book and found the title intriguing. "The Eye of the Truth," This is interesting. I began flipping the pages, and the more I read, the deeper my suspicion became. Doubts filled my mind, and something was off about the information written in this book. I suddenly felt dizzy and gripped the book hard. What happened?

Lucien asked, his massive, scarred arms tightening around my frame to anchor my weight against his chest plate. Confused by the structural layout, my eyes swept the dark iron beams of the chamber. My memory arrays slowly reconstructed the timeline; I recalled being trapped within the concrete hotel vault the previous afternoon. Suddenly, the full weight of the betrayal flooded my internal monologue. I seized Lucien’s massive hand, a raw, burning agony flashing through my silver eyes. "Was my wolf... violated?"

Of course Christopher Henry Jameson—also known as Beast- wasn't the average man. He stood 6'5" and weighed three hundred and two pounds. He didn't like the extra three pounds. Beast was muscles on top of muscles, yet not hulking like some of the others that worked in the Marine Corps division assigned to The Department of Home Land Security, or better known as DHS. Too big made you slow. He'd seen guys bigger than him hospitalized during the CRUCIBLE training.

The little shit was fast, but he couldn’t shake me that easily. A metal door of a dumpster clanged shut, but I didn’t need to hear that to know where he was. His heartbeat echoed in my ears, its erratic rhythm a testament to his fear. Yet, he had no idea what fear truly meant. He would understand, soon enough, once I caught him. Then he would face the embodiment of terror.
