I watched Blue’s face as the insults piled up. “You get aroused from your own stepbrothers touching you?” I said it coldly. “Pathetic.” She flinched and my wolf snarled in rage. “ WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” I shoved him down hard. When Blue finally ran and my entire body went rigid. I forced myself to take a drink instead and look away. The party continued but I couldn’t focus. My wolf was going mad demanding I go to her. The bond was pulling so hard it physically hurt not to move.

For all I knew, a Winterpaw wolf could have trailed me here – and this would be a perfect distraction for them to slip through Blue Moon’s constant border patrol. The wolf had blue eyes with fleck of gold in them. The men stood frozen their wolf’s trying to come forward. The witches preparing spells. One of the men that was helping to guard the witches shifted and started to approach the massive wolf.
