One and a half months later, "Ugh, I'm so bored." I groaned in frustration and looked up at the clock. It was 5 pm and Xavier should be here any minute now. I kept flipping through the channels, feeling bored out of my mind. This has been the same routine for the past one and a half months. I wake up, eat, watch shitty shows, or read some books and stay in bed all day. I missed my job. Xavier was the only thing that was making me feel sane and happy. I nodded my head, “Thankyou Aiden” “Abran?” Aiden signalled towards the door. Abran kissed my forehead and walked out the front door with both Aiden and Brianne closing it behind them. I decided to walk into the kitchen and start preparing a late lunch for us. I began rummaging through the cupboards looking for utensils and food. I decided I would make a pumpkin soup. I placed a big pot on the stove and started chopping up the pumpkin. “Shoot” I sliced my finger. I quickly put it in my mouth to limit the bleeding. I lit the stove with my other hand and checked my finger a few times.

I shrugged. "Forget about it, let's have a movie marathon on remedy now. " movie marathon is our speciality which we do when we want to forget about everything and just want to enjoy. we choose or pick up any random movie channel and watch movies until we get tired by sitting and if any movie does not come out to our liking then we watch it anyhow if we have to close our eyes with our hands it doesn't matter. Oh, who are you fooling around if movies do not come for your liking then you bloody start dancing with some crazy moves?

Putting my black hair in a tight bun and pulling off the black t-shirt I was wearing, I pay attention to the gossip. ‘But do you think Leornado Falcone will be here? I heard he’s hard to see this past year after his failed marriage’, a dark-haired girl says as she pulls on her clothes, and I follow suit. ‘Failed marriage? Next up was going to be Holden’s portion of the presentation, so it was going to be important for me to pay attention to the proposal and not the one who was making it. I always knew that Holden was smart but I never truly realized his potential until her started his presentation. He had designed a building that was more than I could have ever expected. The design was staying true to the existing architecture. The outside matched the buildings in the surrounding blocks. It may be a new structure, but once it is complete it will match the older buildings in the town. Chance, in its day, even though it is less than ten square miles, was a very busy place.
