Henry finished his soup in one go, glanced at Margret, and said, “Whether there’s movement or not, it’s none of our business. Why do you care?”
“How can it not be our business? We should at least know the background of our new neighbors. We live separately, but what if they’re difficult to deal with?” Margret countered, then added, “Besides, now that Lily is pregnant, it wouldn’t be good if they start construction or something.”
Henry coughed awkwardly, conceding his wife’s point. After a moment, he asked, “That’s true, but what can we do about it?”
