THE BIKER'S EX RETURNS

THE BIKER'S EX RETURNS

As the specific texture of the daily existence that had assembled itself over the past months. Colt's coffee at the right temperature. Riley's precision in the morning briefing. Mouse's one-word responses that contained entire assessments. Cruz's transformation from urgency without direction to direction without urgency. Santos building things with Mouse in the adjacent spaces of their work. Briggs in the Eastside doing the slow relationship work that preceded everything. The specific ordinary facts of a life built correctly. I had written: the ordinary life is not the absence of the significant. It is what the significant produces when it settles. The crisis was not the life. The ordinary l

My contracted wife

My contracted wife

He went straight to his study, locking the door behind him with a definitive click. The room smelled of wood polish, leather, and whiskey. Sanctuary. At least, it used to be. Now, it felt like a war room. He poured a drink with a steady hand, ice clinking softly in the glass, and scanned the files on his desk. Reports from Nathan. Crisis control drafts. Shareholder statements. All of it felt distant. The real crisis wasn’t in the press. It was in his house. George opened the drawer beside his desk and pulled out a black leather-bound notebook. Slim. Clean. Discreet. Inside, were handwritten names. Notes. Threat assessments.

The Book of Mara

The Book of Mara

A scream was ripped out of me as I began to free-fall towards that ground at an unprecedented speed. He was going to kill me. Sólas was done with the challenge to his authority, and my dismissal of his words was the last straw. I was going to die. I screamed and clawed at the empty air around me, trying to find something that will stop my fall. The same empty air that refused to stop my fall produced an enormous figure above me and caught me in its large claw. I gripped the scales around the claw desperately trying to hold on to something before I fell again. My heart was slamming against my chest. The impact of the talons grasped knocked the wind out of me. I began to kick and jerk at the s

Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn't Easy

Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn't Easy

“Ms. Craig, we have a crisis. A mysterious person has been attacking our company for ten minutes now, but we have no idea who it is. “Not only are Craig Group’s shares plummeting, but the company’s IT system has also experienced a crash. Our PR department has been receiving calls left and right from our vendors and suppliers, claiming that they don’t want to work with us anymore…” The CEO continued to spout explanations that sounded like gibberish to Bonnie’s ears, but there was one final sentence that she could understand. “If whoever is attacking us doesn’t stop us, Craig Group will be bankrupt in five minutes' time.”

Hey, author!! Don't you dare ending the story.. haha I enjoy all the problems they're having and how they always find a way to solve their problem no matter how difficult it is. One problem solved, another problem comes up.. and another and another.

I've read this up to hundreds then I get bored. almost the same as others, Fl is dumb, she don't face the problem, always jumping to conclusions. She don't even analyze everything. The only story am satisfied with is the FL in " three little guardian angel " I recommend this story.

Redemption’s Sweet Surprise

Redemption’s Sweet Surprise

The world did not stop for Eleanor Vance’s prognosis. Keila needed new shoes because her feet, incredibly, were growing. The supermarket had a sale on the cereal she liked. The sink developed a slow, nagging drip. Life, in its mundane, relentless way, demanded to be lived alongside the crisis.

The Alpha's crises

"What is wrong Daniel? Is our live's in danger? Suzanne Adrian asked with fear in their eyes. I was about to ask the same questions but, I decided not to because Suzanne and Adrian already asked. "Yes our lives at in danger but, it might not be in the same dimensions as your thinking." Daniel said, which added to our fear. "I am not still getting your point, what exactly is the problem like?" Adrian asked and i could see fear swimming round his eyes. "We might die of hunger, we do not have e the same currency with zagakuta." Daniel finally let it out like a triggered bullet.

Crash of Hearts

Crash of Hearts

I had extended an olive branch, and it was only logical for them to grasp it. I later learned that Jeffrey was frantically trying to salvage his standing. He called client after client, pleading for them to reconsider, and was even seen begging banks for loan extensions. His assets were mortgaged to the hilt, but it was insufficient to cover his burgeoning losses. He was overconfident and overextending himself back then. Years of smooth sailing made him forget his limits. Now, he finally knew where he stood.

Pig Slop? My One Move Crushed Them

Pig Slop? My One Move Crushed Them

The Blackjacks' contract was up, and the project quickly came to a close. Jayden invited me out for dinner, saying that it was to review the intranet cybersecurity project. Then, he showed me a deck at the dinner table. He had compiled and turned how I'd handled the "20-dollar lunch controversy" into an internal training case study and titled it, "A Textbook Example of Internal Corporate Crisis Communication". Jayden sipped on his coffee and smiled at me, saying, "Ms. Summers, I have handled a lot of corporate crises before, and you were the first one who cornered the opposition and eventually destroyed them without resorting to dismissing or fining them.

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

The CEO’s Regret: My Ex-Wife is the Hidden Tycoon

"I don't care about the First Draft." I didn't take the pen. Instead, I grabbed the charcoal book we had found in Chapter 57—the one made from the Editor’s skin, the one that held the unwritten margin. I slammed the book against my own chest, right over the space where my heart was breaking, and I pulled the "Thirteenth resonance"—the collective grief of every person who had ever been assigned—out of my own marrow. "If I wrote the crisis, then I have the authority to Declare a Permanent Insolvency," I screamed.

Crash and Burn: A Love Story

Crash and Burn: A Love Story

Left with no choice, I tried to key in the password instead, but it had been changed as well. My crushing sense of defeat turned into rage, and I pounded the door. "I know you're inside, Harrison! Get out here!" I kept shouting until my throat was strained before the door finally opened ever so slightly. Harrison scowled at me, his gaze making it seem as if I were his mortal enemy. Keeping his voice down, he threatened me, "Are you crazy, Vivian? Must you insist on causing trouble for me? If you insist on keeping this up, we should just—"
