E.C. EDWARDS - The Mighty Antimagic Spell

E.C. EDWARDS - The Mighty Antimagic Spell

“He just wants to ruin our day. You’ll see in a few days or in the next hours, when I turn into a dragon. And I’ll be huge. And we all can be like that. Wait until next week. … Finally the hours of the night passed and the children were happy on the last day of the first month of the year, or January 28, as the sceptics considered it. Because yes, the wizards saw the year in another way, different from the sceptics. They had thirteen months of twenty-eight days. The months were: Freeze Month, Wolves Month, Old Dochia’s Days, Changeable Time, Flowers’ Month, Cherry Month, Blazing Month, Drought Month, Harvest Month, Frosty Month, Frost Month, Snowy Month and Gratitude Month. This division did

Crimson Moon

Crimson Moon

It was sitting atop a rock, gracefully outlined by the moonlight. "Please... you can have me, but just let her go." I pleaded. The biggest one walked forward, it was so big it looked like it could swallow me with a single bite. 'And why would we do that?' It raised its front paws, slamming them back to the ground and causing dirt and dust to shoot into the air. 'You thought you could escape us. This is our turf East Valley belongs to the Lupine. You vampires can't stay in your land; you must come to ours and take our food. Leaving the rotting carcass to decay here while you run away with full bellies..."

Fighting The Cruel Fate

Fighting The Cruel Fate

Two women are also present and I can't believe they are just watching a young girl get humiliated in the name of whatever they believe in. "Please, let me go" I whisper as I desperately pull at the strong chains. These people are monsters. Complete beasts with no souls at all. "I will. That is after we get what we want. The full moon is in two days, and you are bound to go into heat any moment. From today and the next two days, your body will be most fertile, more ripe." The man gets up from his seat and moves closer to me. I fearfully watch as his dark eyes roam all over my body and I feel disgusted to my core. This is sick. Don't they have shame at all?

Bloody Full Moon

Bloody Full Moon

I should pay more attention to my surroundings, but my mind is trapped in the past. The sweet scent I feel caressing my nostrils can't hold me in the present. My thoughts drift toward my saddest memory, the moment when I had to forsake love for duty. Alin brought it back with his words. I can't say how much time has passed as I relived my painful memories. The darkness settles upon Bucharest, a half-moon over my head. Thirteen more nights until the next full moon when I can feel truly free again. A man stands still in the shadow between two light poles. Something shiny, polished metal glints in his hand. When I hear the shooting it is already too late to avoid the bullet. I don't have the sp

Blood and moonlight

Blood and moonlight

her mother said before fading into mist. Day Four: Darius nearly attacked Ava. “You don’t smell like her anymore,” he growled, his fangs bared. “You smell like the end.” Day Five: A storm broke out, but it wasn’t natural. Red lightning split the skies. Wolves across the forest howled in unison. The sky rained ash instead of water. Marcus said, “The gods are watching now. No more mistakes.” Day Six: No one slept. The stars blinked out one by one. Even the moon’s glow turned deep crimson—bloody, ominous. The trees leaned as though trying to flee.

Hunter's Moon

Hunter's Moon

In their eyes, she saw questions and judgments, but no one said a thing. The crowd shuffled out of the way as she was led forward. In the air, a pungent stench of pain, of loss and grief wafted in the wind as she passed by, and she felt sorry for them. The Lycans had subjugated the wolf population, driving them to near extinction. The Lycan-wolf war had gone on too long and had been devastating, and Emory didn’t see any point in it anymore. Not one day passed by when she did not try to leave Broiia to join her brothers in the fight. It had always been a hard no from Trey even to take part in Hunter’s Moon a week ago.

The alpha's broken slave

The alpha's broken slave

I asked as the girls exchanged glances before Isabel continued. "The Summer season holds the most terrifying moon of the pack. The Blood Moon, according to our Pack name. The Blood Moon Pack. I wouldn't say there's always a ceremony because of the blood thirst amongst us. Most wolves are at their strongest at this time. Especially high ranked wolves like my father, the pack doctor. High ranked hunters, the Gamma and The Beta. And most importantly, The Alpha."

I really enjoyed season 1, it's a really good plot and the characters are interesting, but I think sometimes the story has a really slow pace so you need to be patient. I hope there were some mysteries resolved in this first part but I trust them to be cleared on season 2.

Banished By The Alpha King:Claimed By The Cursed Lycan Beast

Banished By The Alpha King:Claimed By The Cursed Lycan Beast

Time slipped away when I thought of her. A sharp, vicious pain twisted in my gut. The curse. It hit like claws raking through my veins — sudden, ferocious, unrelenting. My vision blurred. It seized my muscles seized forcing me to glance up at the sky. The full moon hung low and merciless, round and bloated like a predator’s eye watching its prey. Full moon.

I am already hooked already by the introduction. I hope this is a completed story. i I am not one to complain, becuz authors need time with their family or need a break to rest. Werewolf stories are my all time favorite stories to read.

Just finished the book, caught off guard by the whole science angle and the seemingly sudden relationship between the Betas that wasn't supported throughout the story. Other than those two areas, excellent writing and imagery. Love the "unexpected" helper's redemption. Won't read the sequel.

Alpha Went Crazy After He Killed Elf Mate

Alpha Went Crazy After He Killed Elf Mate

The next morning, the maid came to dress me — in a long red gown. The color elves hate most. Red is the color of slaughter and betrayal. "There's a Blood Moon Feast tonight. The Luna asked for you by name." The Blood Moon comes once a year. It is the largest of the wolven festivals — and the most fitting night for executing traitors and offering sacrifices.

Night of the Rogues: Trapped with the Enemy

Night of the Rogues: Trapped with the Enemy

“I’m so sorry I didn’t do that sooner Lyra. I should have trusted myself. I should have trusted you…” "You're alive, they're locked up, that's all that matters now," kissing his palm softly. Then he slumped down the door in a faint. “Get Reu, quickly!” I cried to Elvie. The Full Moon is only just waning. Every month our wolves grow wilder, more savage underground. I sit on one of his huge thighs and place my hands on his beareded face. I cannot stop the tears falling down my cheeks and I take in his handsome, rugged feature.

I love Alle books because they are such a unique spin on the shifter world. The settings and characters she creates are like no other! This goes for her non-shifter books as well, I start and cannot put it down! Bravo to a brilliant author!
Ice
Emotional, action-packed, spicy, frustrating, funny! I love that Alle’s stories are not overly exaggerated perfectly happy outcome for every character, but always very logical and satisfying ending. On to the next Alle book!
