Rejected and forsaken

Rejected and forsaken

He knew exactly what David meant. “I feel that I was put in this world only to feel pain. I had lost my mom first. Then, I lost all my friends. And then my dad and grandparents. My mate and pack rejected me. And then I was framed and accused. Now, I even have felt the pain of being rejected and replaced. Why are we still here Finn?” David continued to spill out his emotions. “Can this get any worse?” He complained once again.

Hopelessly romance

Hopelessly romance

Evelyn’s voice trembled. “How long?” “What?” “How long have you been lying to me?” Mateo frowned. “I’m not lying.” “You disappear for hours. You hide things from me. And now this?” “It’s art, Evelyn.” “Don’t say that like it explains everything.” The argument lasted hours. Words flew across the room like broken glass. “You don’t understand my world,” Mateo said. “And you don’t respect me,” Evelyn replied. “I respect you.” “No. You respect inspiration. Not people.”

The Billionaire’s One Night Sin

The Billionaire’s One Night Sin

It’s only been three months. I should be over it. I’m not. Another shot appears in front of me without me asking. Mateo’s doing. I give him a small, grateful nod and lift the glass again. “To disappointment,” I say, louder this time, the words slurring just enough to make me cringe. “And to people who leave when you finally start believing they’ll stay.” The words hang in the humid air, bitter and too honest. A low voice answers from two stools down. “Or to property that doesn’t talk back.”

Ravaged By My Cold-Hearted Stepbrothers

Ravaged By My Cold-Hearted Stepbrothers

His hands were shoved deep in his pockets, his eyes fixed on me. Our gazes met. The disappointment in his face nearly brought me to my knees. Not anger. Not disgust. Just deep, crushing disappointment. Like he had believed in something that turned out to be a lie. He believed Camila. I could see it written in every line of his face. After what Brandon and Jackson had told him earlier, this just confirmed everything. He gave a slight shake of his head. The gesture was small but it said everything. He was clearly disappointed. My chest felt like it was caving in. I wanted to go to him, to explain, to make him understand. But what could I possibly say that would matter now?

Blood and Moon: Araya

Blood and Moon: Araya

I know things can come up out of your control and I was trying to be understanding, but I couldn’t help but be dispirited. “It’s okay. No problem.” I tried to hide the disappointment in my tone. “I hope you’re not upset with me.” Upset? Not completely, but I was actually looking forward to another evening together so I was kind of in my feelings now, but I wasn’t going to tell him that, of course. “No, not at all,” I lied. “Hope everything is okay.” “Thank you, love. I will see you soon.” I tossed my phone to the side a little irritated. I hated looking forward to something and getting my hopes up and then it not happening. I wasn’t mad at him or anything, just annoyed that I didn’t have any

Rogue Mate of the Alpha

Rogue Mate of the Alpha

I hadn’t realized it until now, but it was discontent that started small enough that I never pegged it for anything, but I pulled the curtain off it, and accepted it for what it was: disillusionment with the system. I’d been shunning it for years without even thinking about it. And now it was cresting into a big ugly thing, and I had to decide whether to fight it—or walk away. “Hang up,” I mouthed to Kellen. He tapped the End button as if it were a trigger. My Beta sagged against his seat. “Fuck, man. I’m sorry.” “Don’t be, dude.” My voice was gruff, but we both knew I meant anything but. “Let me get that.”

Rescue and Disappointment

Rescue and Disappointment

But what I didn't expect was that when I came home with my top exam results, my parents had already gone on holiday with Lily. I called them to tell them the good news, but my parents said angrily, "You knew Lily didn't do so well in her exams, why are you still trying to upset her by bringing up the exam results? Just hang up already! You're making Lily upset for no reason! So what if you've got good grades? You're still a useless country bumpkin!" Those memories were so overwhelming that I found it difficult to breathe. Just when I felt suffocated, my phone rang.

Forced Marriage, Fated Mate

Forced Marriage, Fated Mate

he admonished, his words cutting through the air with a cold precision. The word "disappointed" hit me like a punch to the gut. His disappointment was a familiar refrain in my life, one that seemed to haunt every decision I made. My heart ached, and I realized that even after everything, a part of me still yearned for his approval. "It's fine, Dad. I could never seem to impress you anyway. No matter what I do, it's never enough to earn your approval. Tell me, though, if I was such a disappointment, why didn't you just reject me when I was born? I've worked so hard for everything in my life, only to be met with annoyance and disappointment from you. Do you truly despise me that much?" The wor

Despair

Despair

“nothing… when are you guys planning to leave?” “after this semester but I had to get gpa above 9.00. its really tuff. I am thinking about leaving swimming club. I mean I have to leave it anyway.” I didn’t know he can be this insensitive. He is still thinking about himself. I felt like total waste. It waste my three years loving him unconditionally. It was for nothing. I felt like it would have been better if I just focused more in things that matter like career, future and all that like him. But I will now. Now lets get over this evening.

My Alpha In Shining Armour

My Alpha In Shining Armour

Emily, The disappointment etched on the faces of my pack members as they left my house after the protest was a haunting image that lingered in my mind. Their eyes bore a sense of hopelessness, mirroring the despair I felt deep within. Restlessness consumed me as I tossed and turned throughout the night, the weight of unanswered questions swirling in my mind, overwhelming me with the fear of failure.

Once more as always outstanding novel. Awesome love storyline, strong characters exciting ups and downs, written well, did not drag, held my interest from start to finish and could not put it down. This is why you are on my number one favorite author list. Bravo author keep them coming.
Camilita Vargas
It's a sweet story, a lovely read! ML is a little bit slow to defend FL from other people's abuse in the beginning, but he makes it up to her along the story. Both are in their 30's, living a very healthy and loving relationship, which is rare in Werewolf Dramaland. Excellent job, author!
