The Dragon And The Wolf Novels & Stories

A number of the wolves had yellow eyes that moved in the dark beyond. The air stank of wet fur and iron, and under it was a sharp and chemical scent that did not belong to any living thing. Bram held the line at the edge, his voice sounded scraped as he ordered the archers up and the shields locked. "Front rank, brace! Second rank, spears! Do not let them through the gap!" A section of the gate buckled inward with a scream of metal. Three mutated wolves forced the opening. Seeing that, Sarlen could no longer stay in the back. He went straight into the gap, his hybrid strength meeting the first beast head-on. Claws met claws. The impact shook the stone and dust into the air.

But if I told them the truth, maybe they would take me back to Thornwood. “A werewolf.” I said as loud as I could muster. Collective gasps broke out around me. Gasps of shock and disdain. I dragged my gaze around, confused by their reaction. Wait, he did say this was the ‘Dragon Keep’. The memory of when I came across a book about Dragons rushed into my mind. “...dragons are egoistic creatures who think they're better than everyone. They hung our kind for sport. They're monsters, Eloise…” Mae had told me that day.

Alpha Alexzandra Knight, the father of Xavier Knight and Grandfather of Orion Knight wanted to put forward a Treaty. It still never worked; they would always leave the room in blood. Every meeting held between the dragons and the wolves resulted in bloodshed. The time when both the species almost called out a war into each other was when one of the dragons took in a wolf as his wife and she bore him a child. People say she was forced to be with the dragon. Nobody knows the entire truth but when words get repeated it somehow gets labelled as the truth.

I laughed as he jumped at me again, and I grabbed him by his leg and tossed him to the ground. "I remember this one time, the two of you decided that you wanted to beat on this one pack wolf. See, he was weak at the time because his wolf had tucked themselves away. What you didn't expect after you tossed him from that cliff and down into the gorge, was for him to come back to life." I moved toward the wolf, aware of another coming up behind me. While the murderer before me was climbing to his feet, I quickly spun around and snapped the neck of the other wolf who had just joined us.

The two parties met on a barren, rocky plain, the dragons towering over the werewolves like giants, their scales glinting in the sunlight like gold and bronze. It was exactly as the oracle said... The was a blue dragon and behind it was a woman in all white. She had something in her hand which glisted in the sunlight, as if searching for something. Without exchanging words, Theo shifted into his wolf, his body transforming into a sleek, powerful beast, his fur standing on end as he let out a fierce howl... Dark! The rest of the werewolves also shifted into their wolves as they marched forward with a howl. The battle immediately began, the werewolves clashing with the dragons in a flurry of t

he started to say, a little exasperated that she was acting stubborn. “I’m not leaving you.” she cut in adamantly. “You’re not leaving me,” he corrected, voice softening. “You’re surviving, that’s different. And I'm a dragon remember? It would take more than mere wolves to kill me” Just then the first wolf lunged half a step, testing his reaction. Drake adjusted his footing and angled his sword defensively. “I need to distract them before it's too late. Once I’m out, they’ll follow me. That will be your opening.”

Before he could utter a word, his door burst open, revealing the formidable black wolf. Recognition dawned on Drax's face, morphing into panic as the women screamed, seeking refuge in the bedsheets. In a desperate bid for escape, Drax made for the window, but the wolf, Blaise in his primal form, was in relentless pursuit. Both plummeted out the window, transforming mid-air. Drax, now a wolf, landed awkwardly, receiving a deep gash from Blaise's vicious attack. A guttural growl escaped him as he fought off his assailant and fled into the underbrush.

She thought of giving way to the wolves but engaged in conversation with the dwarf for a minute, “What are you doing here?” He was surely aware that the residents of this forest do not deal kindly with dwarfs. Before Lu could speak, dragon bird's screeches filled the whole forest as they called out for him. “Please, the Dark Dynasty are after my head. I swear allegiance to the werewolves. I swear allegiance” Lu bowed continuously. The wolves provoked by the dragon birds ran back to the border, howling and gathering courage to send it away from their forest. Margaret saw another bigger wolf, grey fur and orange eyes, zooming past her, even past the wolves. With such speed she could guess it w

He couldn’t believe what his mate said ! Lyon bared his neck, panting, eyes glowing with his wolf. “Mark me, you bastard !” And then it happened. The divine union of predator and flame, wolf and dragon — a mating not just of bodies, but of souls. Two species. Two hearts. One destiny.

No Species had asked to be genetically altered with animal DNA, it hadn’t been a choice they were given, and their only so-called crime had been to survive year after year of abuse at the hands of scientists, doctors, and researchers who used their bodies to create drugs to help humans. Not that they got much appreciation for any medical advancements their suffering had provided. The door opened and Tiger popped his head in cautiously. “I could hear you snarling from next door.” He edged inside and closed the door. “Are you all right?” “It’s just a bad day.” “That’s not uncommon. Has something happened that is unusually bad?” “We just have a new group of people to contend with.” “We always d
