He wants to become something the people around him would have never thought or imagined he could become, most especially, the Elders. Once he turned eighteen, they assigned the role of a watchman to him, and even though he wanted to become something more than that, he knows it was the only thing they could offer him in their coven. But then his uncle, Elder Donovan, told him about the coming of the Chosen One, someone who would come to save the world and redeem them—someone powerful enough to overthrow the Elders. Sage knows that the world is not normal with his kind in it, and so, he readily accepted the task his uncle gave to him and already accepted whatever consequence it would bring to

uncertain. “This isn’t just about you anymore,” Draven said, his voice low and urgent. “If you take the deity’s power, you’ll become something else. Something none of us can predict.” I swallowed hard. “And if I don’t?” “The world as we know it will fall,” the deity hissed, stepping forward. Its towering figure, shrouded in shadow and light, radiated power that made the air around it hum. “I offer salvation. You, Seraphina, have been chosen. Embrace what is already written in the stars.”

It was unique, so otherworldly, and she had this regal air around her that I felt like bowing to her, and I did. "Rise, my child. Your destiny has brought you here at last. I have waited a long time for you." Even her voice was ethereal. I got up, confused by her words. "I don't understand. What do you mean?" "You have been chosen right from birth to be the savior who will bring down the underground world."

She noticed my hand seemed to be showing the number seven. What did that mean? Hannah couldn't figure it out. Just as she was about to touch the clock and rewind time again, she suddenly sensed someone watching her from behind. She turned around, but all she saw was the back of someone wearing black clothes. Hannah touched the clock. Time rewound again and again. Without a doubt, all her attempts to save me failed. By the seventh rewind, Hannah finally understood what I meant by the number seven. The number seven represented the fact that she only had seven chances to rewind time. Each time she went back, the clock became older and older.

This feeling has been there but until earlier today after watching Valeria on the brink of death did it hit me harder. " Scared that you will disappoint the people looking up at you?" Thaddeus àsks and I nod. He seems to Know me better, maybe more than I know myself. " Listen princess, I believe everything happens for a reason. You are the chosen one, the protector of the land and that's enough for you to know that you will do good. Amongst all the creatures of the earth, yóu were chosen before birth ànd marked as the protector of all the supernaturals. That has to mean something, right?" Thaddeus questions.

Silence spread like mist. Then she finished, her tone almost reverent: "And so, I judged. One by one. All who bore his legacy. I saw their choices. Their sins. Their dreams. And now… I stand before the last." Her eyes locked on me. "You are my chosen."

And it was in that yearning that his mind drifted, once again, to Lylah. The ache came softly, like fog curling through the cracks of a forgotten chamber. He could see her again now, as if time had collapsed—the stubborn tilt of her chin, the silent fire in her green eyes, the night they’d… The child they'd created. The Promised Saviour. He stiffened, his breath catching in his throat. The High Priestess's words came back to him. As long as he didn't have the promised saviour, all his efforts might well be in vain.

She asked. Athena smiled. “We will name him after the person I will never forget. Without him, I would probably be dead… But he sacrificed himself to save me, and our baby. I will cherish him and forever be grateful.” She looked at Ethan, who nodded and smiled like he was telling her to go on. “His name is Marcus… Marcus Reed.” FINALE Thank you for reading My Savior is a Devil until the end.

I’ve been alone for so long now. “Wait…..you said that he wants you to be his chosen?” Zahara nods in response. I start to pace around the room, trying to piece things together. I know he is my fated mate; that much is undeniable. He told Zahara that he wanted them to be chosen mates, and she told him no. “Why would he need you as his chosen if I’m his fated? I mean, I want nothing more to break this bond, but I’m confused.”

“...once again, our exalted Moon deity has chosen to bestow her most esteemed blessing upon us. She’s given us a gift like no other...” Tension runs rampant in my body as I climb the few steps to meet the Luna holding a proud smile on her face. As I draw close, she concludes her speech, “...the Chosen Omega, our salvation from the pestilence of those vile Demons”. The uproar that ensues after that cue, leaves me gobsmacked. I remain shock-still as I stare at the Luna make that declaration. They knew?
