The Earth's Chosen Savior Novels & Stories

I've never heard it before. 'Emberborns have long been recognized from birth. The trait emerges more frequently in a minority of Omega families, and this divine mark is often passed from parent to offspring. Emberborns were once believed to have been chosen by the goddess, as their ability to lead, support, and care for others is innate and unwavering. Their sense of justice is enhanced, and though excessive kindness and generosity are displayed from those with this trait, they have the right amount of ruthlessness expected from a leader.

Susan's parents had divorced too, and they had each built their separate families since, leaving her all by herself—she felt all the more lonely during festive seasons. I was the one who married her and gave her a family so she no longer had to wander, and now, she realized once more that she was scared of divorce and didn't want her new family to break up. But it was too late. I called for my mentor for the prayer rites, so my son could pass into the afterlife sooner. When he was done, he looked at me, and then at Susan. Smiling ever so faintly, he poked the center of Susan's forehead. "Even the most venomous snakes never eat their children. After such sacrilege, it's time you become mortal

I asked staring at what now looked like an emberpeak. "Once we step foot on the burned side of this earth, the creature knows we are here," Michael said. I stared at the beginning of the dark earth, and realised it didn't look like an ordinary burned earth, it looked like it was breathing. "Is this earth alive?" I asked.

But then he kept talking… and I was forced to listen. “Everyone just wants to give me a fucking heart attack.” Clord complained once as the kid continued to speak now. “Over the past few days, I have tried to prove to you that you’re who I say you are— the Chosen one, but you have stubbornly not believed me. But then today, the moon goddess by herself decided to show you that you are her Vessel.” The kid said as he strolled over to my axis.

“That particular God made a mistake. I can't tell you who. He turned himself into a werewolf and entered into the world. Unlike me, who just gives marks to special people, he fell in love with a mere mortal, and the woman birthed Kia.” I sat down on the floor and stared at her as she continued. “The agents of darkness found out about this, and just like the gods have chosen people on earth, the agents of darkness do too. They sent their people after the child because a child with direct godly powers would be really great.” “Why didn't the god help his son if he loved the mother so much?” I asked. I mean, why would he let his lover be killed and the child hunted?

“What if people start to come for me just to bring this person back… and who is this person they want to revive?” “I don’t want to worry about that right now. All we needed to focus on was getting Aillee to an area where she would be safe with her Chosen. Once we have done that, then we will worry about who this person is.” He said. Stepping away from me, Gabriel made his way towards the large map of the lands. The map was situated on the far wall, taking up most of the space. The map itself showed every village in the area as well as the small packs I had no idea existed.

Elias asked, still pale from the ordeal. Dorian read the passage aloud, voice steady but shaken. “‘When the vessel of light bears the mark of the condemned flame, the bulb shall awaken. Within its fragile shell, the sins of the old shall reside, until the day of reckoning… when the blood of many will cry out for a savior. One who is both mortal and divine. The Chosen shall carry the voices of many, and silence the war of all. A forgotten one, Betrayed by love and cast away, Shall rise from ash and ruin, Wielding sorrow as a blade, To challenge the thrones of stars and sand alike.”

The red shirt underneath feels like a deliberate choice, the vibrant color bold against the dark suit, and it reminds me of the blood that will soon be spilled, that will stain my hands before the night is over. “Welcome Mr…” he begins, stretching his hand to me. An unwise decision, I think, as I glance at his extended hand- a gesture to show trust, to form a connection. It's a pity he’s just offered his hand to The Devil, to the very man who will soon be taking his last breath. “Levi” I answer, my voice is calm, controlled, as I grasped his hand in mine. The contact is brief, but it’s enough to have his face imprinted at the back of my mind.

"Her blood, she sent her blood to you and gave it to me, she is the savior from the curse of darkness." Mark flinched, escaping his breath, and Kayden caught his chest, feeling his heart stretching between his ribs, holding his breath, his beloved wife, she is the salvation of his people, she is the chosen one who has been waiting since the age of the ancients, their instrument of indulgence from the inferno of darkness in which they have been afflicted since the fall of their first ancestors. He turned his attention back to Mark, watching him still weak and weak, telling him firmly and unquestioningly, "Take her and get out of here, and I'll go find her, I won't get out of this place withou

I need to gain my own freedom. 'My sweet sweet mate. You're my savior, thank you for putting up with me for so long and for being so patient. I love you and Maddox always. No matter who wins, no matter what happens please remember that this was my choice and I have to do this.' I reply.
