The Fourth Closet Graphic Novels & Stories

he teased, nodding toward the mysterious door she had often pondered about. Anna nodded, her heart beating faster with excitement. “Yes,” she whispered, her smile matching his. “Come on, let’s see,” Xavier said with a playful giggle, taking her hand as they headed toward the closet together, anticipation building between them. Xavier gently took Anna by the hand, leading her toward the closet door that had always piqued her curiosity. As he opened it, a soft glow from within greeted her, and she stepped inside, her breath catching in awe. The closet was transformed into a beautifully intimate space, filled with carefully arranged pictures of her, surrounded by flowers and sweet-smelling cand

Where could he go to escape the invisible monsters that always tormented him whenever he closed his eyes? He suddenly remembered the closet where all the clothes were being stored. Moving like a ghost, he soundlessly slid down from the big bed. He walked towards the wardrobe doors and without making a sound, he gently pulled the door open, slipped his thin body inside, and pulled the door shut. Surrounded by the darkness and the smell of new fabrics, Kyle huddled his legs tightly against his chest. He stared blankly into the dark space, and did not dare to close his eyes even for a second, terrified that if he fell asleep, he would see the white walls and the gurney again. So he stayed awake

And it was not even safe for their families as they most often would start with those closest to them. Peter has always been the most withdrawn of the four and I knew that if anything, he would have really dark thoughts. Maybe, I would suggest that Garrett after he tells me the truth that they should send Peter far away. He gave everyone the creeps by the way and should not be protected when he has been nothing but a menace to the entire society. It was a really long wait and I guess at some point, I fell asleep. I could not keep waiting anymore and hoped that I would be able to speak to Garrett in the morning.

My scent on his bed was embarrassing enough. I softly closed the bathroom doors behind me as I turned to the other set. I pried open the pair; I was assuming it was his closest. I was right, thank Goddess. As I stepped into the closet, a tidal wave of leather and cardamom crashed into me. I sighed happily as I skimmed my fingers across his clothes as I walked through the walk-in closet. Half of the closet was stark empty; I assumed that it was meant for me. After a few minutes, I stole a soft blue tee shirt and proceeded to sneak back to my room.

It is now filled with the lingering scent of April’s favourite perfume. “Change your clothes.” Tom instructs coolly, “I’ll bring you something to eat.” He closes the door and I hear the click of a lock that was never on the door when I lived here. I ponder around the room. Besides the smell, it is almost entirely the same. If I didn’t know any better, I might think nothing had changed since he locked me away. I walk into the closet and am instantly assault by the cause of the wafting scent. Although my clothes are still hung, many new outfits – outfits that are April’s expect style – press my clothes into the corners on the shelves.

His face was wet with tears. And yet he immediately stood before us. Between me and the closet. The older Noah remained in the door. He saw the opening gap and whispered only: “Too late.” Everything was quiet down in the house. Don't calm down. Empty. No voices of children. No crying. No sea. Nothing. Like the whole house was waiting for this one moment. The closet opened completely. Darkness. No clothes. No shelf. Just black. Lower than a cabinet could be. A room.

He turns us to the right. There the space is empty for the most part. A robe hangs on a hook by the door. At the end of the empty racks, another space for shoes takes up a portion of the wall. Three pairs of fuzzy slippers in yellow, green, and Giants orange are illuminated by the overhead lighting. We walk farther into the closet where a large white square dresser takes up the middle of the space. He pulls open the top drawer a small amount. There's a flash of pink before he closes it again.

A four leaf clover. Thinking it might be something in his room I cracked open my door. The security of the late has been lax and my two mutts for guards were nowhere in sight. I had to be quick, who knew when they would be coming back. Crossing the hallway I slipped inside Gabriel's old room. It looked the same as it the day he went missing. Blinking my eyes to adjust to the dark I start searching. After a few minutes I’m starting to feel hopeless when my fingers swim along his nightstand. The four leaf clover symbol, hidden in plain sight rests on the top corner. Pressing down on it a small compartment opens along the side, a 3 digit code needed to access it.

The fragrance was enough to make her forget her worries for a moment. The closet was the size of a mini living room. Well arranged. Long sleeved shirts, t shirts, polos, striped shirts, floral shirts, pants, shorts, shoes and the others she could see. The clothes were neatly kept according to their brands and colors. She stared at the closet for as long as she could before making up her mind on what to do. She walked over to where he had black t-shirts. She searched through and picked one , which had the words MKA RULES. She stretched it out and read the words on it.
