The Alpha's Cursed Bride

The Alpha's Cursed Bride

The way you were present to something you loved that was well. Emily looked at the hills for a long time. Then she said: "I want to know what the fourth year looks like." "Different," I said. "The third year was the year the foundation completed. The fourth year is the year of building on the foundation." "Higher ceilings," she said. "Yes," I said. "The ceiling rises as the wolves rise. The territory becomes as good as the wolves in it are willing to be. The fourth year is the year we find out how willing they are."

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Sight. Truth. Courage. Four ancient powers merging together. Then a fourth mark appeared. Burning beside the others. The Fourth Crown. Claimed. The power settled. Slowly. Then knowledge entered his mind. The Fourth Crown granted Resolve. The power to keep moving when everything else failed. The power to stand when others fell. The power to endure. Then suddenly— a vision appeared. A much stronger vision than before. Eleven lights. No. Nine. Because he already possessed four.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

After Divorce, I became the CEO of my Ex-Husband's Company

After Divorce, I became the CEO of my Ex-Husband's Company

A new alert illuminated: PHASE FOUR ACTIVE Bellion cursed. “No. No, not now...” “What is Phase Four?” I demanded. His fingers danced across the keys, but I could already see it on his face. Worse than Phase Three. Worse than the serum operatives we had encountered. “Phase Four is what occurs when you cease trying to control the virus,” he explained. “And begin permitting it to choose.” “Choose what?” Bellion met my gaze. “Hosts.” **Sophia**

No Turning Back

No Turning Back

"She—" "Betrayed you?" I turned off the recording. "Just like you betrayed me." "Interesting?" Dante knelt on the ground, his body weak, utterly defeated. "I really... have nothing left..." he mumbled. "No," I corrected him. "You still have your life." "Though I don't know how long you can keep it." As soon as I finished speaking, the sound of car engines came from a distance. Two black SUVs drove into the pier, their headlights blinding.

I only knew who they were by scent because I didn’t bother to look in their direction. That doesn’t stop me either though as I put my claws at his stomach and slowly dig in, “Maybe you’re the one who should watch the way you talk to a Turned wolf,” my claws slip deeper and deeper but he doesn’t so much as flex his abs. “Especially when you have no information on them,” he still doesn’t move an inch the whole time as I retract my claws and scape upwards a bit. I didn’t go too deep, he’ll heal in seconds from what I’ve learned from Star.

River witch

“That’s what the Third Tide wants. To erase, not kill.” She pulled out the Testament. A new passage was written: > “Three tides claimed. Four remain. The Fourth sleeps beneath the Hollowing Wind. In its breath, the world remembers its first fear.” Maya stared at the stars re-emerging in the sky. “The winds are changing,” she said softly. “Next, we chase fear itself.”

Turning the Tables

Turning the Tables

Shania and I decided on Samuel Turner, a marketing manager at Shania's company. Samuel was younger than Lucille and about six years younger than me. I had gotten to know him through a random dinner event in the past. I had formed a deep impression of him because of his good looks and how smart he was at handling all sorts of situations. Later on, I got to know from Shania that he was also very competent at work. He had managed to get his position as marketing manager within a year of joining the company.

Turn Around and Start Anew

Turn Around and Start Anew

Jake backed off but did not quit. He loitered outside the school daily, begging for forgiveness every time he saw me. "I'm sorry. I was wrong. Please, give me another chance," he repented. I ignored him, sick of his face and words. Unable to move me, he went online and started a livestream.

Marked By The Four

Marked By The Four

We were show to them right now. Jaxon swore. Calder closed his eyes. Maddox looked ready to kill everyone present. Evelynn exhaled through her nose. “Yes.” I blinked. That was somehow worse than denial. “Is it ours? All four?” I asked. “Yes,” she said again. My brain stopped cooperating. Jaxon rubbed a hand over his face. “We had a whole emotional cave journey about it.” “There were rituals,” Calder added dryly. “Great powers,” Maddox said. “Trauma,” Jaxon continued.
