She burst out laughing. And yeah, I remembered her situation in that game. My sisters and I always loved board games—it was our favorite weekend pastime before Rita left. “But she didn’t leave any kids behind,” Isabelle explained as she set up the game on the table. “She played with two cars, and the extra kids came along.” “The Game of Life?” Gabe narrowed his eyes, curious. “How does it work?”

Shane’s voice was steady, though his hands clenched tightly. “She looked out the window when the voice said not to. They don’t like it when you disobey.” “The what?” Shane didn’t answer her question right away. His eyes lingered on the girl with the rose blooming from her mouth, then slowly turned back to Farrah. “The ones who run this… whatever it is… they call it a game,” he said quietly. “But it’s not a game anyone wants to play.” Farrah’s hands clenched into a fist… “She’s dead, isn’t she?”

But… I didn't draw any rolls or what… now I wonder. Well setting that aside, this whole world turned into destruction. Just like the game's name says, 'To Survive“ or “To Live Long” It was like any ordinary game that you need to fulfill task and gain rewards which you can use to improve your character. Do the game quests and proceed to the story line… But… Am I really part of that game now? Shaking my head, I have no time to stand idly. I must first get out of this creature at some point.

Is this my end? Is my game up? Has my life come to an end? But then there is that cliché saying that with every end there is a new beginning. Whichever way you look at it, whether you live or eventually die things will always come to an end.

"Life is indeed a terrible game. Everything about it now—is just corrupted." So, she thinks so, too! And here I thought I was the only one with that vision. But why does she look disatisfied?
