Sand Castle

Sand Castle

Thank God the Langstons don’t rule Upper Castles. In Amaenia, there are ten regions, and each region is ruled by a seat holder. Upper Castles, where we live, is ruled by the Caddels. Our neighbour, The Capital, is the central region of the country and is ruled by the Albertines— the country royalty. The Vandenbergs rule North Ventrise, and then the Barringtons in Barnsley, the Whitlocks in Wells Spring, the Hogwoods in Hillstone, the Hansleys in Hathbourne, the Silvius in Southcove, the Castellans in Chesterfield, and the Langstons in Lancastre.

Runaway Heiress: The Billionaire’s Forgotten Bride

Runaway Heiress: The Billionaire’s Forgotten Bride

He was a child, and this was just another adventure. He looked up, his face smudged with white chalk dust. "Maman? Is New York a grand castle? Like in the book?" Aurora’s heart, the one she had encased in ice, gave a painful, familiar twist. "Yes, mon ange," she said, her voice a low, soft croak. "A very big castle." "A castle made of glass," a voice said from the doorway. Elias.

The Billionaire's Regret

The Billionaire's Regret

The tall windows of the main room were blurred with drops of water, the back garden dark and wet, the stones near the reflection pool shining as if they had been polished for an elegant funeral. And Poppy was delighted. No school. Rain. Limited cartoons, but still some hope for negotiation. Two Barbie castles stood in front of her like a small property dispute. One castle was from Adrian a few weeks ago, pastel-colored, with a little elevator, a bedroom, a tiny balcony, and a kitchen that, according to Poppy, was “lacking a chandelier but acceptable.” That castle had long been the seat of government for Anastasia Sparkle.

Alpha Harris A Betrayed Bond

Alpha Harris A Betrayed Bond

Atticus turned to his right and began walking towards the section of the castle that wasn't completely destroyed. The front looked too unstable so Atticus continued, walking around the rubble until he found a section that looked almost untouched. The back side of the castle, the northeast corner, was surprisingly almost intact. Atticus could even see parts of the roof on the fifth floor, although the windows were non-existent. The glass was long gone and the stone was beginning to crumble. Atticus gently tugged on Harris' hand as he moved forward. The larger Alpha finally lets go of Harris' hand and sticks his head inside the window. Once Atticus was sure there was no glass along the edge, h

I absolutely loved this book and love this series in general. I have bought all of them and gladly re-read them while waiting for the next release. Harris's story is able to bring something new to the series while still incorporating the many different characters, which not all authors can do.

Divorce Suits Me Better

Divorce Suits Me Better

She was four months pregnant and glowing. Her phone was up before both feet hit the gravel. “Oh my God, look at this place. Hold on—I need the turret.” “We’re late, Alexis.” “Two seconds.” She angled the phone higher. “Got it. Baby, come stand with me, I want one—” The castle hit me square in the chest. Honey-colored stone, ivy crawling up walls older than money, a courtyard that said you don’t belong here. This was Atwood territory. Not the building—the world. The kind of wealth that didn’t shout. The kind that sat in the landscape and made every dollar I’d ever earned feel temporary.

Bred For The Alpha Daddies

Bred For The Alpha Daddies

It was a literal mountain fortress. The dark grey stone walls stretched incredibly high into the winter sky. The tall glass windows reflected the cold sunlight. The wooden front doors looked big enough to hold back a raging, violent army. Flora's jaw dropped open. She clutched her textbook tight against her chest. "You actually live here?" Flora asked. Her voice shook slightly. "Yes," I mumbled. I felt embarrassed. I didn't own a single brick of this place. I was just a broken Omega taking up temporary space in a wealthy castle.

Blessed By The Goddess: The Chosen Lusina Wolf

Blessed By The Goddess: The Chosen Lusina Wolf

Katie's POV We arrived in what looked nothing less of a castle with a Glass art dome at the top of it. I had no idea buildings like this existed outside the Red pack. Killian packed and ran around to open my door for me and help me down. I took his hand gracefully and allowed him to lead me right up to the stairs that led into the Castle-like building. I see why he was also excited. The place didn't seem like the kind of place just anyone could visit, but aside from that, the guards at the huge brownish gold double wing door in front of the jade green castle-like building all looked at me with eyes of amazement and wonder.

BOUND TO THE ALPHA KING

BOUND TO THE ALPHA KING

I just turned my gaze back to the window, watching the dark trees fly by. We soon arrived at the castle, and I actually found myself surprised. This place was different from our citadel or any other human castle I had seen before. It didn't look like a fortress built for war. It was sleek, with high glass windows and white stone that seemed to glow under the moon. To be honest, I liked it. It felt less like a prison than the palace back home.

The Heiress in Glass

Vivienne paused and typed back slowly. Vivienne: She forgot who raised me. She stood at the window, staring down at the city. For years, she had lived behind glass. Now, with everything stripped away, she had nothing left to protect. And nothing left to lose.
