The Glass Castle Novels & Stories

[Rose's P.O.V.] Jane showed me around the castle. She had medium-length, caramel-colored hair and a pair of tiny dimples. She was a feast for the eyes, but I soon found myself stunned by the tour. I could not imagine a building like this to have conference rooms, recreation centers, restaurants, libraries, kitchens, gyms, laundries, underground wine cellars, and dozens of other kinds of facilities. There was even an art gallery filled with sculptures and famous paintings, and this was just where the members of Sunset Pack usually lived.

I don't really care about loosing any of these things, most of them can be replaced pretty easiely, but I would be heart broken if one of these items was to fly through the air and kill a child, or a member of my pack. I check on the warriors who are boarding up the windows, thankfully the castle doesn't have any glass over its windows, only the other building within the walls. There are still a lot of windows, but most can be reached from the ground or a small folding ladder. The warriors are making good progress, so I leave them to their work.

“Princess Eve? Princess Eve? Where are you, my sweet princess?” All seven of them find themselves in a castle hallway and it shock most of them to see the glass like castle. The ground nor the wall was made from glass like material and right at the corner was what seems to be a woman with ivory hair and in white dress walking towards them in a goody smile.

Covered in vines. We crossed. The safe house was a castle. Old. Stone. Towers. Flags flying in the wind. Vera walked to the door. It was unlocked. She pushed it open. Inside was warm. A fire burned in the fireplace. Beds in every room. Food in the kitchen. Toys in the corner. The children ran inside. Laughing. Free. Lily hugged my leg. "I like this castle." I picked her up. "Me too." Rex collapsed on a bed.

If she did, she gave no indication, thank Goddess! As we pulled up to the pack house, I snuck a look at Kat, hoping to catch her facial expression when seeing it for the first time. We lived in a huge log cabin, made from huge full-round Western Red Cedar logs. Whereas the RedWoods pack territory was more idyllic, like something out of a fairytale, Glass Lake was more rustic, but just as beautiful in my mind. I wanted Kat to feel at home here. When I pulled to a stop she looked up and I heard a gasp escape her lips. She was staring with her mouth hanging open.

"Am I going to look like a real princess in the glass castle?" Adrian caught his daughter in his arms, lifting her up with a soft chuckle. "The prettiest princess in the entire valley, sweetheart." Arabella watched her husband and daughter, her heart swelling with an overwhelming sense of happiness. The trial was over. Richard was handled. Claudia was at peace. And Julian Vance was playing a game against a ghost. In a week, she would walk down a glass aisle filled with winter peonies, look into the eyes of the man who had fought the world to protect her, and officially become his wife.

Buildings begin to come into view, they are spectacular most of them seemingly made of shimmering glass that reflect and project a rainbow of colors as we pass along (( this is amazing Lancesirott )) ** thank you Luna we take pride in our environment and building structures and materials as we make our own glass here due to the frequent lightning storms in the Sandy Ever Glades, we are never out of material to work and build with, we even have classes designed to teach persons the art of making glass dolls, ornaments and various types drinking glasses ** (( I guess I'd have to come back and visit with my family another time then, I'm sure my mate would love to see this place )) ** I’m sure t

He whispered and tugged me with him. There was a path made of red rose petals and the border of the path was made with candles. The fragrance of candles was filling my nostrils as I inhaled deeply. The large living hall and then stairs from the center. The path was leading towards the glass-made hall. There were beautiful snowy pine trees. The path ended at the castle made of fabric inside the house. That room was made of glass that I felt like I'm outside the house. He made it to make me feel that we had a date outside.

Lucius tried to make Edwin talk about what he had done, but Alexa heard them and shushed them, they arrived at the stone castle, Diego was amazed, he had never left White Castle, so he never saw anything other than the old, cold, and dark castle, this one speak of light warm colors, with his windows of various colors, the banner of blue with the wolf head hanged from every pole, in every entrance of the castle. Inside, fireplaces were lit everywhere, a smell of food being cooked, traveled towards them, the servants and their conversation and laughter rose on the corridors. Alexa was smiling
