Blue I have no idea where we are. It’s dark now so it was hard keeping track of each turn Bryant made to get us here. When he pulls into the driveway a bunch of lights around the house turn on giving me a pretty good look at the outside. The driveway is on an incline straight toward a garage that looks to have a possible second story. Odd, but maybe it’s just really big inside. The house is a grey-green color with red accents, and I can admit I don’t hate the combination. There are a few steps next to the driveway that lead up to a small path leading to the second set of stairs that lead to the main house.

he asks while skewering me with his blue eyes. I look out the window at the fields that make up a small portion of Gray Ranch. They have so much acreage it is easy for enemies to ambush them. They have so many small pups to care for at the moment that they have left themselves vulnerable. Without constant vigilance and routine patrols, an enemy could surprise them easily. The scents from their livestock alone could help camouflage an enemy...

She considers running away but that would be a little dramatic. Gray hadn't talked to her after that encounter at the coffee shop. But it would be a lie if she says that she didn't look for him often. Gray Westmore is dangerous to her because she keeps on thinking about him at an unusual time like in her bed when she sleeps at night. Yeah, He's dangerous and she planned to stay away from those kinds of people. The cab halted at the front of the massive gates. Meredith held her breath when her eyes took in the amazement of Gray's house or rather a mansion. She stepped out of the cab and paid the old man,thanking him for his service.

Shawn said, and parked his car in front of a two-story house. Along a short drive from Mr. Gray's house, they arrived in a simple two-story house with modern decorations. The way it looked in front made it suitable for families although, when you entered, it surely looked like it was missing something from the inside. As though someone was living alone, you could tell how gloomy it was.

Moments later, the peaceful silence of the Gray ancestral estate was broken by the low hum of approaching engines. Another convoy of sleek black cars glided through the gate, stopping in perfect formation before the grand steps of the mansion. The air shifted instantly; every servant straightened, and the children and grandchildren of the Gray family exchanged nervous glances. The door of the middle car opened first. One of the guards hurried forward, bowing as he extended his hand. From the car stepped out an elderly woman whose very presence commanded silence—Donna Gray, the matriarch of the Gray family.

The drive felt longer than it should have, each minute dragging as thoughts of Chloe consumed him. Finally, he pulled up to a small, worn-down house. The paint was peeling, and the front yard was littered with trash. Zach’s jaw clenched even tighter. He stepped out of the car, walked up to the front door, and pushed it open with more force than necessary. What he saw inside made his blood boil. Grey was in the middle of the living room, a woman beneath him, her moans of pleasure filling the room. “Ugh, yes, give it to me!” she gasped, her eyes rolling back.

That night, I lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling, as I did most nights, but I wasn’t just listening to the cries of the wolves from the woods this time. No, I was also listening for noises inside of the house. I was listening for Gray, wondering if she would try to leave the house. I knew my mom had talked to her after dinner, and I had to assume they’d gone to some lengths to attempt to secure the doors, but it was a lot harder to lock someone in then it was to lock someone out. They couldn’t put a lock on her bedroom door either, or else she wouldn’t be able to get to the bathroom. So… I lay awake, hoping she didn’t try to sneak out and wishing Grandma had some sort of an alarm on her w

My parents were really worried about me, so I have to stay home now.” [“On my way.”] Gray glanced out the car window, then undid three buttons on his polo sleeves and let out a sigh. Before long, he found himself in front of the Red mansion. The car pulled up by the massive gate. Gray stepped out and made his way to the entrance, only to be stopped by two guards. “Excuse me?” Gray asked. “I came here to visit my girlfriend,” he said. The guards exchanged a look and then one of them said, "Sorry, you can't come in."

He seemed even more restless, sweat dampening his face as he brushed off my hand forcefully. "Then go back to bed. I'll be over here. I don't want to be near you," Gray stated, making me weakly nod. I turned back towards the bed while Gray moved to the corner of the room, hidden in the darkness far from the lamp's light. The sky outside had started to darken as well. I squinted my eyes, imagining only the dark figure of Gray in that corner. Although the treehouse wasn't very big, the lack of light prevented me from seeing clearly what Gray was actually doing. I was surprised to hear Gray's groans growing louder, wondering if he was in pain.

He unlocked the door and then ushered me inside. “Welcome to Grayham’s summer house.” I stepped into the living room. The furniture were scanty and when I peeked into the bedroom, I saw nothing aside from the large bed. Not even a closet. Just a gaming device. “Don’t you keep anything here?” Grayham dropped onto the couch. “I don’t live here. I do come here every summer weekend with my bag to cool off. If I need food or anything, I just place an order. Most of my time is spent at the beach anyway with the neighbors.
