The video followed seconds later, downloading to her inbox with a piece of static and a soft ping. She stood there feeling the weight of what she had done: sold her mother’s gift to buy a truth that would either set Martins’ killer on fire or burn her alive.

This is the captain of the special forces, Skywolf!" Victor continued, "He's a recipient of the Medal of Honor, a national hero! How dare a woman like you yell at him?" "What?" Through the security cameras, Kane streamed the entire scene to me in real time. When James opened the box, his face instantly turned pale.
