Rose's Curse (Stories Beyond This Universe II)

Rose's Curse (Stories Beyond This Universe II)

But Jericho revealing his true nature bothered her greatly. You're Nephilim, Feron had told her fiance. Nephilim were half-angel, half-human creatures whose impure souls left them sickly and dead by the time they reached puberty. Jericho was ill, that much Rose could see, but from the looks of him, Jericho might be in his early twenties already. If he were truly a Nephilim, he should be long gone. She didn’t know what could have given him a longer life than intended. But she was certain of one thing--he was definitely after the ritual to prolong his short life even further. Nothing more, nothing less.

The Howling Throne

The Howling Throne

His gut twisted. This wasn’t a choice at all. His fingers closed around the shard. The moment he touched it, pain lanced through his skull. It was not a physical wound but something deeper, something reaching into the core of him. His breath hitched as visions crashed through his mind, A battlefield drenched in silver fire. A figure standing at the heart of it, their face obscured, but their presence was suffocating. The Veil, not as a barrier, but as something alive, something ancient and watching.

Promises in the Grave

Promises in the Grave

However, what he did not expect was Alfred's punch. By the time I dashed outside with Ruby in my arms, Chester had already shoved Alfred off, but Maverick was back at it in a flash. Those two troublemakers were suddenly on the same team, united against a common enemy. Before I could even catch my breath, Ruby had slipped from my grasp and lunged at Alfred, sinking her teeth into his wrist with all the fury of a storm. Alfred was about to shake her off when he saw her face and froze, his own face a mask of shock.

A Crown of Ashes

A Crown of Ashes

Rain smashed into the earth like it wanted to bury the whole damn city, turning the graveyard into a sopping mess of mud and hunched figures clutching black umbrellas. Sienna Calder stood off to the side, her boots sinking into the muck, her old jacket—splattered with paint from a dozen late-night rants—sticking out like a middle finger among the somber suits. She wasn’t here to weep. She’d come to see the bastard in the ground for herself.

Whispers of Frost and Fire

Whispers of Frost and Fire

The Story of the Priestesses “When the world was young and men had just begun ruling over the land, the Moon Goddess, Selene, and Zeus fell in love. Together, they had eight children: Narcissus, Pandia, Ersa, Horae, Musaeus, Eiar, Theros, Phthinoporon, and Kheimon—the Goddess of Winter. Men and wolves lived in prosperity, but as with all things, there must be balance. The gods had their counterparts—demons—creatures of destruction sent to Earth to undo the progress of both men and wolves. Their power was beyond that of any mortal, and soon, war broke out. It became known as the Battle of Worlds. Zeus, fearing extinction, sent Kheimon to the mortal realm with a mission—to rid the world of the

Grisha

Grisha

Whatever that thing was, but how were they connected? My visions of Grisha were painful, they were draining, and they were chilling. But my vision of the burning bird was calm, peaceful, and utterly soul-fetching. But why did it scream Grisha? Because I heard it, I heard it loud and clear and I knew it screamed Grisha! What in the hell was Grisha and what did it have to do with the burning bird? For an umpteenth time ever since I set my foot in Varagrafena, I laid awake at night, filled with nothing but questions, and more confusion!

LAWS OF THE WOLF

LAWS OF THE WOLF

- as if by the way, I clarified. "Don't offend me," Grisha answered. - I'm already disabled. As many times as you beat me, I'm generally surprised how I'm still alive! Maybe it's love, he added smugly. - Beat after all, when love?! "It's only in your wrong universe," I snorted, but I slipped the knife into my trouser pocket. Grisha followed my movement with approval. - Now I deserve a kiss? he asked, licking his dry lips seductively.

Alpha's Bad Romance

Let me come out! 'No, no Grisha. Let me talk to him.' But Grisha didn't listen. Her raging wolf freed herself and immediately lunged at Blake. “Lyle!” Graham shouted to stop her, but she was gone too far. Grisha jumped from behind on Blake who was jogging towards his mate without a care in the world. Unaware, Blake fell on the ground with Grisha over his body. With his muscular biceps, Blake pushed Grisha away with his hands, but not before she had bitten on his forearms and had clawed his stomach and thighs and tried to crush his skull in her jaws. Graham, along with a few others, shape shifted in order to restrain her. In the fight that followed, Grisha severely injured Blake.

Excellent! I’ve read several of Mishak’s books, so I am used to the heart attacks. This book had its share, but it was also a lot of fun! I only got into the fantasy world this year, sure I never liked it. Mishak and a few other authors have proven me wrong. I love with this genre. Thank you Mishak!

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

Lurking in the Dark - Book 2

“Jilin's request surprised me a little. It is not exactly common to get reinforcements from other guilds for a comparably simple mission. " "We just want to make sure that the Iubas get to their destination without incident," I remarked a little pointedly. Now he couldn't ignore me anymore. "Hi, it seems you haven't noticed me yet, there is no other way I can explain your rude behavior. I am Grace Shanks, Venator Grace Shanks. "

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

Hiding His Heir: The Rejected Luna’s Return

The appearance of the "Lyra-Horde" turned the "Unmapped" North into a landscape of terminal identity crisis. These were the "Deleted Ends"—the versions of Lyra Thorne who had died in the forest, the versions who had married the vampire king, the versions who had been "Purified" by the Council. Each one carried a different "Ache," a different "Scent," and a different "Sovereign" frequency. They stood in the center of the keep, their obsidian blades creating a rhythmic, metallic hum that drowned out the sound of the wind.
