Fuck. I leaned on the wall, slipping all the way down to the ground. Pulling my legs up, I buried my face in between them. Now I could boldly say that Matteo was a monster. And this place, this sick place was haunted. God, nobody had ever given me this scare. Not even the slasher movies I watched with Leah.

The haunted house had taken root in Greystone Manor, an aging mansion on the outskirts of Velmora’s East District, complete with towers, gables, and enough architectural drama to look really creepy even in broad daylight. “Last chance to back out,” Rohan said as they approached the entrance. “Are you kidding? I have been looking forward to seeing the unflappable Rohan Marquez jump at fake monsters.” “Who says I’m going to jump?” “Everyone jumps in haunted houses. It’s scientifically impossible not to.”

Talia asked as she looked at her mother’s scared face. “Talia, I think that this house is haunted. Tanasha has come back to haunt us. I think that we should leave.” “Mother, where will we go? This is our home and we are going to stay here.” “No… no… You don’t understand.” Vera shook her head. “I… I saw some writing on the mirror that I am going to die. You… you have to believe me.” “I just checked, and there is nothing written on the mirror. Mother, I think that you have been tired for the past few days, and you just need to get enough rest.”

He did invite me out at night to a graveyard after all… I pressed myself close to his side as we slowly walked along the dark path in the haunted house. Looking around, I could tell that the decorations were made to portray a vampire theme. There were fake blood, coffins, skeletons and other haunting items scattered all around. Now and then, there would be a shrilled high-pitch scream in the distant and the howling of wolves. While Hayden seemed to enjoy looking around, I spent the time to mentally prepare myself for when the ghost would come out and scare us.

Juana half laughed, half shivered "Scary" "Yes" "Should I keep talking or not? " As long as she's not here, you can keep talking about her" Juana said and Ella looked around the room for about a minute before saying "She can't be here. Ghosts do visit the home of people who killed them or otherwise their own home" she replied "So are you saying her killer was in your house back then?" Juana asked grateful there was no ghost in her room. "I'm not sure. Stevenson bought that house, so it might have been her former home before she died, but now that I think of it, he himself might have been the killer, judging by the rumors that he is a notorious murderer of little girls"

"The Asylum of Horrors! This is going to be the bomb! Ariel Davidson, let's go for this!" My best friend, Chelsea Higgins, pointed to a dark, eerie-looking building in the distance inside the amusement park, her eyes shining in excitement. I hesitated as I glanced at the building, instinctively feeling a little awkward about it. I had never liked haunted houses or other scary, bumpy rides. More importantly, I had also felt increasingly uneasy about always being the third wheel on dates with her ever since she got herself a boyfriend, Ivan Benton.

After I was done peeling the apple, I munched on it and began chatting with her, seemingly nonchalantly, like I was just talking about the weather, while telling her everything that had happened in my past life. Lacey's eyes were first filled with terror, then confusion, then shock. When I was done with my story, Lacey said with much difficulty, "Impossible… You couldn't have had a past life… That's all bullshit! "I'd never have killed you… I'd never… You shouldn't believe it… You're making a stupid mistake!" I threw the apple core into the trash can and wiped my hands clean. "Don't be stupid. Why would I ever kill you? Your boyfriend will do the job instead.

"Thanks so much." Logan gave the old female some coins before they left and continued their tour. "This is the territory of the Clan of the ghost" he uttered pointing at the huge kingdom before them. "Stop Danny" he commanded and Danny did. "Wow, looks terrifying. Any mortal will shit in his/her pants if they sight this kingdom." "Lol. Nothing is terrifying here. Just vultures, skulls, Red pieces of clothes, spiders, snakes, and rumbling of the sky." "Is that all you see? And who told you there aren't mortals who got phobia for spiders and snakes? Also, do you think it's everyone that can bear the different sounds going on?"

Uncle Samuel asked surprised. Joe chuckled and then he said “I think they might have had some help from the other side if you know what I mean?” Uncle Sam stopped dead in his tracks. “The other side? You mean this place is haunted?” he asked fearfully. “It is indeed. But they have not harmed us in any way so we let them be. I just hope you get a decent sleep, because someone is patrolling the hallway, and the boys swore to me it was not one of them.” Joe chuckled and showed his uncle to his room.

The clock struck 1 am, adding to her despair. Feeling lost and overwhelmed, she crouched down beside a sleek black car and unraveled into sobs. It had been an unsettling night, filled with one of her usual nightmares that had left her sleep-deprived and disoriented. Whenever she woke up from the terrifying dreams, snippets of different scenarios flickered before her eyes. Some involved a haunting accident, while others featured a pulsating club party. The visions overlapped in her mind, creating an indistinguishable mess that she couldn't shake off.
